QUOTE(PutraCraze @ Jan 21 2010, 08:01 PM) hi guys... just got myself tattoed.... seems like doesn't looks so optimistic bout roid's on navigation purpose... but other than that... so far no complaint.. very eager to know if 1.6 can get daddypergi running also... will stay tune Yeah, stay tuned, they already released a version for TW, so there should be a release for msia soon, seeing that most of the phones will be upgraded to 1.6/2.0 soon. Added on January 22, 2010, 12:28 amHey, I just installed the new MFM 100106, but now I can't manage to find any POI, using back the default map (I moved it into Maps.bak) seems to work though. Anyone else encountered this? This post has been edited by kiwlm: Jan 22 2010, 12:28 AM

I think it won't work? I tried the old version from the "android" path last time, it doesn't work. We have to check here instead: http://www.papago.com.tw/ANDSEA/

QUOTE(ochinchoon @ Apr 20 2010, 06:28 PM) yeah i am seriously very surprised and shocked too...its like taking them forever. if u do visit the taiwan website u will notice their papago m6 software and not the X5 is already compatible with htc legend and all with android 2.1 os but its only for taiwan and its all in chinese menu. i Believe its not that hard for them to actually convert the M6 into english menus? why is it taking them forever? From what I understand, the complication is not at the translation, the problem is because of the maps. For taiwan papago, the map comes with the software and install onto the phone. But for the Malaysian version, we copy the maps into the SDCard (because we use MFM instead of maps from papago), and there are major changes about SDCard access from 1.5 and 1.5+. Not sure how they are going to solve this issue though.

Hi All! Papago X5 does work on 2.1. It is working on my HTC Magic with Legend ROM now.
The CD box that I bought it in, stated supports only 1.1/1.5 so mine is the old version. But I got a new DVD from m3asia, and it worked flawlessly like it did on 1.5, copy Navi into SD card, and install the apk from the web.
Yay! Now I can use 2.1!

Hey papago users, I noticed there's a little annoyance when I navigate thru federal highway, sometimes it will ask me to take the RAMP, but then when I took the RAMP, it ask me to go down the RAMP, effectively going straight!
Coupled with bad auto-zoom support in papago that always show me too zoomed in, this is kind of funny and frustrating!

QUOTE(theMadMan @ Aug 9 2010, 07:43 PM) I was at the PC fair that was from 6 Aug to 8 Aug, and they had WinMo and Android versions for RM119. They claimed that the Android version supports up to ver 2.1, and that it is is possible to get the latest maps from malfreemaps (or I may have heard wrong). Anyone tried it out? I am running papago x5 on my 2.1, so confirmed it works.

Yeah, I realize papago eats more battery than google maps navigation, too much details in the papago.
