Playing Host.

Over the last few days, Malaysia played host to Chinese President Hu Jintao and Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono before they hopped over to Singapore to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit. While President Susilo’s 24-hour visit was
largely to further smoothen ties between Indonesia and Malaysia following Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s visit to Jakarta last month to attend Susilo’s inauguration, he will still be delivering a speech on investment opportunities in Indonesia. Nonetheless, we see less market
excitement over Susilo’s visit compared with President Hu’s.

Indon & China visit bring more luck to KLSE CI players......spot on. Buy on Dip tomolo...

If I dont sell in T+3, I will be charged different rate and how much?

If I cover back the rm10k without selling, rm8.88 will still apply?

Just want to understand. tongue.gif

Okie...

The concept of Click Traders account is that you must always have 10K in your "Bank Account"...
So let's say I start with 30K to play shares.

1 Nov (Mon) - RM 30K in bank. Bought KNM (0.80) shares at RM 16,000. Bought PANTECH (1.00) shares at RM 10,000 = Total purchase RM 26,000.
- All purchases are based on RM 8.88 per transation.
2 Nov (Tue) - CIMB I Trade platform will show me RM 1 as my credit (because I am left with 4K only since I used up RM 26K on 1 Nov). Nevertheless, my bank
accout is still RM 30K because I have T+3 to dispose off my KNM & PANTECH.

Scenario 1
3 Nov (Wed) - Sold Pantech &/or KNM. Each transaction is based on RM 8.88 as all transactions are within T+3.

Scenario 2
5 Nov (Fri) - Sold Pantech &/or KNM. Each transaction is based on 0.42% as all transactions exceeded T+3.

* Having credit to buy/sell and having the $$$ in the bank is two different issues altogether when it comes to CIMB Click Traders.

So click traders is good for those who do day trading. Buy and sell in T+3. Anything that is more than T+3 got to pay 0.42%.

So I can forget about it...

Thanks Clarice for sharing. notworthy.gif

To add on:

Scenario 3
5 Nov (Fri) - Sold Pantech &/or KNM. Each transaction can be based on RM 8.88 IF...

a) Let's say I actually start with 50K to play shares. I sold UEMLAND worth RM 18,000 on 29 Oct (Thu). So if T+3, the RM 18,000 will be credited to my bank account on 3 Nov (Tue). This means my bank account will have minimum RM 10,000. So If I sell Pantech &/or KNM on 5 Nov, it will be based on RM 8.88.

the problem is its a gamble. Malaysian market sux, difficult to move in contra period (CAVEAT - only CERTAIN counter move).
What is you bought XDL yesterday, and cannot cover in T3, instead of chasing for cheap brokerage, you are dying holding the hot shares.

nah, 0.42% of HLe just fine for me. Afterall, I got margin from them. x2

ohh interesting discussion on IB and brokerage there...

For those who are trading with cheaper brokerage.. is the account a Nominee account or a direct CDS account ?
Also, are u assigned to a Remisier that sometimes can give valuable advice or a dealer who doesnt care/know much ?

IMHO, a good remisier is worth all the brokerage you pay him...

honestly i dunno much about the differences between Direct CDS and Nominee. Some of the things that I know are:
~Direct CDS allows u to apply IPO through bank account
~Share registrars mails the stuffs (agm notice, coupons, etc) to your mailing address..

plz correct me if i'm wrong...

Premier 1 is current account that you put your money there in order for you to buy stocks via M2U.
You should have Premier 1 if you use M2U trading platform. Maybe you haven't "link" it to your M2U internet banking...

Yesterday I dump the money I cash out from PBB-CK to MKLand. Hope Tai Kor sky didn't bring me to holland. laugh.gif
I was choosing between MKLand, E&O and Alam. See whether I made the right choice or not...
