actually everything can be said for all characters. Its a matter of understanding the character you're using. Most ppl are very tier oriented and thus keep leaning towards a high ranked tier char to use as to their understanding, the winning % is far better than a low tier character. Many are driven by videos or comments of others and with that thought holding in their mind that using a low tier character is a no no. It's like the majority of bb players plays ragna or jin as they're easy to use and their moves are less complex to execute. In the end most of this people would just spam 1 or 3 moves. Knowing how to use and understanding how to use has a difference. Nonetheless there have been people proving that low tier characters can win over high tier characters and to my understanding for fighting games, characters that are complex to use are normally very rewarding to use once you mastered them compared to those that are easier to use.
Like now i feel playing litchi is more rewarding then playing jin xD
since most knows jin moves and understand how they work so coming up with a counter isn't much of a problem.
id beg to differ. there are characters that have a MUCH EASIER learning curve/mastering. and its a general concensus that no character would have anywhere the learning curve/mastering that carl has, no point to even argue against that as we all know why.
i mean, yeah, spamming those 1-3 simple B&B moves without understanding is lame and all, but point being that it works. try spamming any 'simple' 1-3 moves with carl, or hakumen, or to an extent even tager/taokaka, see what result you get, as opposed to say, playing characters like jin/ragna/noel. hell, for shitz and giggles i swap ragna while reis swapped hakumen, guess what i did? spamming that 1 2 hit combo over and over again, randomly bloodkain -> dddddddddd/scissors carnage. wanna guess whos the victor? LOL
i mean yeah, there are exceptions, no doubt. and low tier characters no doubt can beat high tiered ones. the question is how hard the high tiered character needs to play vs the low tiered ones? and how often said low tiered players would be winning against the high tiered ones? People like Dio certainly makes carl look easy, however just like the majority of carl players elsewhere, he does loses a lot and sometimes in a very pitiful way too. And at the same time, he can 100-0 even the likes of dora's bang making them looked like a noob who just picked up the game.
imho though, honestly speaking, if you're going to look for a perfectly balanced game, especially in blazblue where all the characters are so unique, you're better off playing something else.

Playing with on' makes me feel Haku's movement is soooo slow~

onlooker using ragna? XD
against most ragna players my haku end up at a corner being treated as a punching bag. fun times LOL
