Rules are......
-Tournament will be in Double elimination format
-No unlimited chars
-No changing chars between rounds/matches *EXCEPTION: If you are hardcore enough to play as random every single round*
-Each fight will be held in 3 rounds/2 matches style for 6 rounds total
-No easy specials...
-Astrals allowed

EDIT: Could you guys post which char you gonna use?

Now i just need confirmation on Reis and Quaz before randomising placements.....ALSO do you guys wanna do the matches invididually or we set on a weekend or something with everyone in the chatroom?

^You should go see CS vids instead, it'll be even sadder.

Also...I propose that the tourney be held in the morning at about..8am-10am  on one of the weekends so that there will be *hopefully* less lag and less chance of people having plans at the assigned time. Any thoughts on this?

I humbly suggest you that you should just let the players have their own time and let them tell each other when is their free time.

You don't really have to do this at one go IMO.
Since you did say it's "casual" with no prizes, so... no harm there.

Sadly, BB doesn't allow you to view other players' replays if your rank isn't high enough.

That's if somehow EVERYONE is free at that time.

If not... like what I said in my previous statement.

I'm on holiday so i'm free. i suggest weekends so that most people would be free though. and obviously everyone gathering together (to make fun of the losers) would be much better than individual matches.

and here's a suggestion to make the tourney more challenging (to some)

how about participants pays a small amount of entrance fee (let's say RM10) and the winner gets to take all the fees? kudos to the singaporeans since they will have their amount reduced by transferring fees.

Or more like you'll make a lot of the self-proclaimed "inferior" players not join the "casual" tourney instead.

I've already played arcade CS though not extensively as i don't regularly go to the arcades. Lots of SG ppl have transferred over though as its been out in Singapore for a loongggg time.
