it works everytime your phone goes into sleep mode..but that doesn't really matter to me..I use the widget everytime I start my phone..Its always there and all it needs is a tap and you get all the memory you need

good question..i didnt keep it in my safe list though..i'll test if it does its job..but everytime u change the sim, wavesecure will definitely launch so if its lost, i know the job will be done. Because my SIM itself will be blocked and he will have no other choice

First and foremost, welcome to android room and congrats on your wonderful device!
Here you go.. 1. Yep, you are good enough to even know about ROMs 2. nope..GUI doesn't change (unless you are upgrading to AOSP 2.1 which installs the new kernel altogether) 3. Your phone is 1.5 still. There is a 2.1 release which was not made officially by HTC yet. You can use that if you want, but if bluetooth is not a necessity to you, I suggest just hold back to 1.5 for now until the official 2.1 is released for Hero. 4. Yep, its through the "market" application. 5. When you go to Market, you will find this out..haha..Too many to list here 6. WiFi using FTP if you want..Thats faster and easier.. Hope that helps |

this one will not update the kernel..it uses 1.5 kernel with Modaco Custom ROM v 3.1
If you want to flash 2.1, you have to use different files |

QUOTE(Ndrew @ Mar 2 2010, 09:14 AM) hi, to do it from recovery, there's an option ext 2 to ext 3 and ext 3 to ext 4, that's the one? Yeah, and you must do it part by part..ext2 -> ext 3 -> ext 4hmm, i did a wipe last nite, did it from the recovery page, i wiped everything, wipe cache, wipe sd card, wipe data etc... even reformatted my sd card..after that i applied all the modaco ROMs again, but when i reboot the phone, those broken links are still there... apps like afirewall still stopped unexpectedly and have to force close... is there anything wrong? the only way is to uninstall them manually i guess.. Like I said, apps have nothing to do with the ROMs. Some apps may not be written well for certain phones. QUOTE(Addonics @ Mar 2 2010, 11:04 AM) sifussss, Have you added the variables to the environment? Make sure you use the correct separator "," or ";"i failed on the step 2, once i type adb on the command manager, it showed "adb" is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file what does it mean? |

ademon start and device not found has nothing to do with each other..Check your drivers..There is somewhere in this thread you need to some searching on how to install the drivers (I'm guessing you're running Win7)
