HEHE~

Providing u get a good model LOL~

Huh? "Provided I get a good model?" . Razer's quality control damn shit la like this.
Must depends on luck to get a proper mouse. Maybe that's why my Orochi special case la. mad.gif

Gosh, if those "unlucky people" got a bad batch must go RMA.
A lot of hassle then, some more must wait few weeks.
Then, that beats the premium price we are paying for Razer right??

I'm not saying Razer make bad products. (I just bought a Mamba) tongue.gif
Is just that it is not fair that people are paying the same price and some units are working and some are not.
Imagine you unbox your new Mamba inside a great packaging.
Feeling excited, so you plug it in your computer and *viola*.
Your Mamba jitters like hell while tracking and having squeaky scroll wheel or worst of all D.O.A (Dead on Arrival) (Not Dead or Alive game) laugh.gif .

How will that person react? More or less will be like this doh.gif right?

After that, drive to Ban Leong and hunting for that place, I don't have a car in KL by the way as a student pursuing my studies in KL. Let's say receptionist said need to wait 2 weeks to be RMA-ed. rclxub.gif Also, another situation will be sending back to the seller to help you RMA or exchange a new one if D.O.A, another fee added to postage fees. shocking.gif

Gosh >.< blink.gif . Pray hard for my new Mamba. tongue.gif

er using psp to get in lyn lol mamba user like azrin got no prob at all
oni me and stevenng got squeky scroll wheel.
and its no big deal about it.
just wear headphone or earphone if you cant hang on to it
fyi, if you scroll it normally you wont hear a thing.
but if you do it purposely for sure can hear.
trust me its no big deal.
jitter problem you can solve it with the new firmware or get a mousepad like sphex, qck mass, megasoma, and destructor.

Finally got back my Mamba after being sent for warranty for 3 weeks. Missed it so much.

They replaced a new unit for me. biggrin.gif

Feels so much better now without the squeaky sound.

I agree that you can solve the jitter problem with a hard pad. A Sphex did it for my Mamba. I dont however, agree that the scroll wheel squeak is acceptable. It isn't something which you will only hear if you deliberately scroll really fast. Even at regular speeds, there is an annoying squeak. At least, that was the way it was for me. Btw, I don't use headphones with my PC.

Anyway, although the Mamba is really awesome, I still won't be using it anymore. I'm very particular when it comes to funny noises in my room (you should see what I did to my stand fan's base). My Mamba was basically perfect for 3 and a half months and suddenly, it became a nuisance. I really can't bear to see it happen again.

EDIT : Edward, can you please send me a PM too. I wanna know your shop's location as well as some info about the Imperator =)

Serious ah? Dammit, i'm not a member of the razer thread laugh.gif How much discount could you possibly give on a razer, though? I've been planning to buy a mouse + mousepad at the end of the year but right now i'm torn between razer & roccat.

The upside of buying Razer to me is assured quality + i can test before buying+ it's just cool. That and i've always wanted one...
The upside of buying Roccat is it's more exclusive in Msia + i want the Apuri biggrin.gif

One thing is that, i haven't really heard people singing the orochi's praises so i guess that i should just stick to the DA if i get razer.

Haha well, having never owned gaming peripherals before i'm not sure of the need to spend so much. All i know is that my current mouse isn't sensitive enough for me and if i'm going to get a gaming mouse, i at least wanna get a good one.
