Use a soft cloth ( an old t-shirt will do ) , put some water on it and gently rub the 'shiny' surface of the Mamba. I do this once a week, every week. The rubber coating of my Mamba still looks as good as new.

Darn it, my Mamba's scroll wheel started squeaking like mad today. Anyone know if Ban Leong will RMA me the mouse because of this problem?

Just sent my Mamba to moderno for RMA. Should be getting a new one in the next few weeks. Wont be using it though. Selling it immediately to make way for Imperator =)

If anyone wants a Mamba, contact me. Hehe.

Hmmm... damn gay if got people click once and get Mamba. Or better yet, a Megalodon. Haha. Can take and sell and make money!!

Oh yea forgot to ask ya'll. What's up with Ban Leong PJ's receptionist? She was a real pain today when I went there to do my warranty. As if I'd know their policy on warranty claims...that was my first time there. Other distros dont seem to have a problem dealing with end-users.

In the end, I had to drive 30mins to Subang to ask Moderno to do the exchange for me (he was really nice and helpful about it btw). Waste my time only waking up early to go to Ban Leong. Very disappointed with their service.

I agree that you can solve the jitter problem with a hard pad. A Sphex did it for my Mamba. I dont however, agree that the scroll wheel squeak is acceptable. It isn't something which you will only hear if you deliberately scroll really fast. Even at regular speeds, there is an annoying squeak. At least, that was the way it was for me. Btw, I don't use headphones with my PC.

Anyway, although the Mamba is really awesome, I still won't be using it anymore. I'm very particular when it comes to funny noises in my room (you should see what I did to my stand fan's base). My Mamba was basically perfect for 3 and a half months and suddenly, it became a nuisance. I really can't bear to see it happen again.

EDIT : Edward, can you please send me a PM too. I wanna know your shop's location as well as some info about the Imperator =)

My friend has the same problem with his Copperhead. According to him, opening it up and cleaning out the dust will fix it but it also voids the warranty.
Anyway, if you go to the distributor and tell them your mouse is double clicking on its own (when you click it once), they should RMA it for you. It's not a very uncommon problem in older Razer mice. Not sure bout the newer ones though.
My old Habu has the same problem. It's not Razer branded but it's still basically a Razer with a Microsoft tattoo =p

But of course, it could also very well be the latency playing 'tricks' on you. You'll have to establish if it happens in other times yourself before any conclusions can be made.

They don't. I was there 2 weeks ago. They told me to go back to the shop I bought my item from. Was seriously pissed cuz I have RMAed a few items directly with them before and I wasted my time going to their office. I was also a little offended cuz the receptionist was pretty rude.

Guys, I've got a real dilemma here. The Logitech G110 or the Razer Lycosa?

I wanted the G110 originally but now apparently the RRP will be more than the G15 which would probably make the price be around 300+.

Now, for that price, I can also get the Lycosa which looks better than the G110. The only backlighting colour I want is blue btw and I don't need macro keys. So what should I do? Lycosa users, please share your opinion =)

Nice, Imperator coming. I'll definitely be buying it once it reaches Moderno. Already made a pre-order =p

I just got my Imperator as well. It's got a good shape for my hand except for one flaw, there's no place for the pinky! Haha

And I agree with Michael on the firmer clicks. The clickers on the Imperator are very different from the Mamba.

Dude, do you feel the left and right clicks are a little different in terms of firmness/click sound?

I watched your video at the starting when u clicked it a lot. Could hear a slight difference. Haha. Don't ask me how I can hear.. I have OCD sometimes..

There's a little excess glue at the corner of the rubber surface of my Imperator.. Already went and asked if it's warranty-able, Moderno guys said no... T_T Guess i'll just have to live with it..
