SLI? wont that generate more heat especially in a laptop?
anyway, even the most basic starting at RM7k is enough to support the games i want la.
tho i probably wont go for it, get a shuttle PC with a KVM better.

of cos la have to upgrade for bad company 2.
all my upgrades so far has followed Battlefield series tongue.gif
other games like cod4 all no problem to run, its always Battlefield that has higher requirements.

razer next item...no idea.
u just follow la see wat has been discontinued.
krait gone - abyssus come.
da gone - imperator come, da refresh not included.
ch gone - so waiting for one now.

barracuda also gone - so now got nothing to fill the price gap between carcharias and megalodon, so maybe expect one here.

razerguy already said no mechanical keyboard...so what else can they do? another bad keyboard?
imo, razer should just take the everglide dktboard and expand it to full size.
guaranteed will sell more.

@Everdying, Razer already discontinued Both Razer Barracuda HP-1 and AC-1? And btw, is it advisable to get Barracuda AC-1 or there is something else cheaper and better? Like Creative?

HP-1 discontinued, so i guess AC-1 also.
better get creative card, im using audigy 4 and its been serving me well enough the last couple of yrs.

since u use speakers already, i guess directional sound isnt important at all for u.
so why waste money get a 7.1 headset when u wont fully utilize it?

i didnt get megalodon cos my SS 4H was doing well enough, but of cos not for music...so thats why there is now a SS siberia v2 - almost perfect all-rounder tongue.gif
also another reason i didnt get megalodon is cos i didnt like the USB-only connection, and the 7.1 while directionally works fine doesnt sound as nice in the FPS games i play.

v2 mic is ok with me, even my 4H retractable mic works fine.
v2 also has bigger 50mm drivers, so will have more bass and apparently better directional sound.
v2 also has the ever useful volume control, and mic on/off switch on the cord.

RM220 for creative soundcard + RM339 for roccat kove = RM559.
Megalodon = RM519 PC Fair - and probably cheaper elsewhere.

as for roccat kove, imo its old tech made to look brand new again.
having 3 speakers in each ear for headphones has been around for awhile, but u dont find many ppl using them do u?

there are also other virtual headsets out there apart from logitech that alot of ppl use, like steelseries...but thats another thread.

yea, its hollow sounding in 7.1 mode.
but in stereo mode it does pretty good for music etc.

also 5.1 true headsets arent known for their great sound quality, not sure of the roccat, but it applies to whatever that has come previously.
