Adela... I have my sources...

But I don't have it in hand yet... Heck, I don't even have have my Fuze in hand yet, thus the big MAYBE...

As for the price, I'll bulk try my best to bulk them later, if anybody shows interest... If not enough interest, I'll just order extras later (and the price is not that bad too)...

Oh, and the guy making the LOD (yeah, they're hand-crafted) said this about the differences of the Fuze HO/LO:



Lets see if I can manage to snag a few of these babies... Moar soundstage plus better controlled bass is NEVER a bad thing, eh?

But be forewarned, he also said that the change is incremental - not particularly obvious or mindblowing - and a higher end IEM upgrade should be prioritized. Just to make sure nobody is expecting miracles from this little piece of plastic...

It's said that the RE252 is already up on the level of the W3 and IE8, with less (but extremely well controlled) bass...

As for the amps, YES! PLEASE...

I'd particularly wanna try out some P2V2s and/or CMOYs to see if they provide any improvement compared to my modest E5... But I'd want to hear some other amps as well (specifically the Secret - the soundstage controls intrigue me), even if I very well can't afford any of them...

Bring ja... The SQ is not effected right ? Or at least not by much - we headfiers believe that one micron of torn padding will result in a 23.97db reduction of sound in the 5-10khz region... lol, joking joking...

Bought it in a bundle with my PL50s from bro kitsune-fox. Though it can't possibly match up with larger, more specialized amps, the E5 holds its own in the mobile world simply for being so tiny IMHO.

Oh, and FP has been edited and the list updated... Come on, any sifus interested? I'm particularly interested in hearing how the IE8 and the Atrio M5 sound like, being the basshead that I am!

Plus some portable amps wouldn't hurt... iBasso T4 and the Secret especially, as I'm eyeing the new iBasso T3 (improved innards vs the T4) right now for my soon-to-arrive Fuze + LOD...

Rite now only using my lowly Nokia 5800 with the E5.

Bass and details on the 5800 are okay enough, but the soundstage can be improved on - thus my decision to get a Fuze.

And an LOD is a Line Out Dock, which is - despite its name - a cable that triggers the line-out signal of some particular DAPs (iPods and Fuzes especially), giving you a cleaner output (being straight output from DAC, supposedly) then what you get through normal headphone out.

The E1 is an iPod/iPhone LOD + miniature amp, close in performance to the E5 from what I've read...

Hmm... That's why it's tentative... I'd appreciate if anybody has any ideas on what date would be best... As for me, my holidays will start on that day up till the new year (or at least until the 21st of Dec, have other plans on that date forward)...

I've been having a revelation over just how wide and airy an IEM can sound like with the lowly Silicone tip - the PR2 has crap soundstaging and muffled details with the olives...

And about the Proto Secret, hiss or no hiss, I'm more interested in the Secret mode crossfeed controls... Somebody mentioned before that it could influence soundstage depth...

Besides, I don't think anything can beat my epoxy-ed, marker marked Cycone PR2 (tried to do the whole L/R thing, as the symmetrical PR2 is a pain to wear in the dark) in terms of crap outlook... Lol...
