Well, 1.5 auto only has 3 gears
If there is a 4th OD gear, you'll be happily crusing 90km/h at 2.2-2.3k

my umbrella at the rear speaker-board there, i thk by the time i reached the umbrella, the road bully already ketuk me liao  sweat.gif
but again, not bad idea, maybe i'll place my umbrella nearer to driver seat.
*
You can always place the umbrella at the rear seat's leg room there/passenger's seat leg room, easier to take
Because most of the time we drive alone mah, so faster to take the umbrella for rainy days as well

Q: for clutch on the 1.5 wira (MT la), what options do we have?
can simply get aftermarket clutch and install?
i feel the stock clutch on my car very lembik. if i wear boots, totally cant feel the clutch depressed or not sometimes!
what are the advantages of using semi-racing clutch? pros, and what are the cons? u all roughly know the price? thanks ah
*
Better clutch = stiffer
And of course, more grip and release more wheel horse power smile.gif

I feel like changing my rear brake to disc brake. How much would that cost?
*
Chop shop rear disc calipers alone already RM700 for a pair

Good job on the transplant :haha:

mengsuan: Yup its not a cheap thing. Plus lets say 1 of the rear calipers jammed and there are no more half cut shops anymore, a brand new rear caliper each costs RM1350-1500 for 1.6. Not joking on the amount

So far yours is stock right?
For brakes, invest in a double layer servo (which I think you did already) and get better brake pads to boot

Then get a cheap LCP. Have you done your intake and exhaust?

The servo is replaced. Brake pads are good.
Tell me more about LCP. No changes made to engine/transmission. Intake and exhaust not modded.
*
For LCP@lighten crank pulley, its job is to lessen the rotational mass at your crankshaft. Effect will be release of lost horsepower and the engine will feel lighter and revs easier. A LCP is approx 50% lighter than your original. Don't get undersize crank pulley.

Intake and exhaust, get a hi flow drop in air filter to replace your OEM 1. For exhaust system, you can opt to change the header to a tuned length 4-2-and get a good midbox. Muffler and piping maintain. All these mods can be done within the RM1K budget

There are a lot of brands
You can opt for Redline's LCP from kent20

But don't over expect to release a lot of HP, don't get your hopes high on LCPs but the respond is there. For better effect, intake and exhaust

DANG, RB26DETT??

mengsuan: The link you posted is the cam pulley (top), not the crank pulley (bottom). For the cam pulley, its job is to adjust the powerband of the car (best to use with performance camshafts). Crank pulley don't need adjusting, all plug and play. What you need is the crank pulley (bottom)

Ok, I didn't notice the small difference in wordings. Have you changed your crank pulley? Does undampened LCP causes any issue?
*
I am a Mytheology user since 2006-2007 around there~~
Undampened pulleys, if they are manufactured with precision and has good QC, there shouldn't be any problems

The rubber dampener is there to absorb critical vibrations emitted from the crankshaft, can't run away from vibrations in an engine anyway.

Your budget: <RM1000

Redline crank pulley for 4G15: RM290 (PM kent20)
K&N drop in air filter: RM220 (price varies, just an estimation) or you can get ESE Filter from maddriver (RM110-RM120)
4-2-1 tuned length header: Zenden (PM kent20)
Midbox: Not sure the price, pm Kent20 also

I guarantee you will be satisfied with the amount of mods you did with that given budget wink.gif With balance in your hand, full tank of petrol and spend it on delicious food
If you are in klang valley, can come out yum char also wink.gif
