Hey Moo is ur Beercan Sharp at F4- F5.6? since u r using CZ 1680.. u able to accept the sharpness of the beercan?

I just went to try the 70300G F4.5-5.6... TAT the Sharpness i wan... but trying indoor kinda hard to tell at iso 1250... but definately can See d power of G... Another good thing is... ITS EVEN LIGHTER than Beercan! though d crazy hood size might be a problem.


I thought tats yesterday??? So later 3-5am still can possible to watch? Hope there isnt much cloud like yesterday...

wa.. i been missing a few days.. lucky i came back and found out got meteor shower =P..

I was looking around for when we can see the meteor showers.. few sources also states 3-5 am 18th Nov.. which is few hours later la.. but.. you guys have any news regarding the 5pm nov 17 meteor shower? did any one see it or mention of it? if theres no news, then the time could be mistaken and this 3-5am later could be the correct timing..

so whos with me to go all crazy and wait for the meteor shower? =P

i'm using 6MDH... i can put A100 with 1680cz attached, beercan, 50mm f1.7, 58 flash and a blower (with extra battery, memory cards, lenspen, microfiber cloth, card reader, camera remote, extra rear lens cap, body cap, etc).

i think there's a room for a water bottle if i take out the blower...

Mine like not that sharp .. at F4 till F5.6... even At f8 the sharpness oso only about my Kitlens. The colour is nice though . Love d colour n bokeh.. just the sharpness...

Mayb one day should meet u & ask to compare my beercan with urs.. see got any difference or not.. bcause from wat i remember when i try urs at TT i was WOWed immediately by its sharpness... but tat time i test on closeup potrait.

I am getting one too =) hope will give nice colors as yours n others...

This 5am i went out checking d sky but was cover by soft clouds. cant even see ONE star... so go back to sleep... Later i'll try again.. hopefully d sky will b clear.. I wish im in hometown sarawak now cause i believe d sky there is much clearer than kl one..

im not working tomorrow.. so i think i wanna try shooting it.. but there are 2 things which bugs me..

1. Clouds
2. My location.. I dont have a wide view from my pool side.. Im trying to think of some safe place to set up the gear and wait..

LOL i also wish i was somewhere not in the city.. the view is better.. darker and the skies are clearer..

Bro, sorry, didnt know they ran out of stock. They usually have all the bags on the shelf for fitting and sampling purpose.... i know coz i tried fitting my gears each time i added new stuff.... ended up didnt buy Crumpler but DIY my Billabong sling....

clivengu: The beercan is already sharp at F4, but even better at F5.6. Unless you're using too slow a shutter speed (1/200s would be a good safe speed to have.)

I found the 70-300mm G to be equally sharp.

lildaredevil906: I was outdoors for a bit at 5:15pm and didn't see anything other than lots of clouds. They seem to say that it happens twice (5pm 17 Nov +800 GMT and 5am 18 Nov +800 GMT).

Oh.. but i feel like is still not sharp enough for me.. at 100% la.. mayb later i post an example without any sharpnening of 100% crop n an overall. mayb there r different beercan with different performance?
