50mm not useful for bug macro.... for static thing is ok....

1 noob question here. Whats Pro1D UV filter compared to normal UV filter?

if going for macro 2:1 then go for sp90?

shooting with 58mm @ F2 will hv shallow DOF hence the pic will look softer.... try to stop down n try again....
try to get a AF confirm chip adapter to assist plus a Pentax O-ME53 1.2x Magnifier to help up if u using A300/A350 to do MF

2:1 can only get with Minolta AF 3x-1x 1.7-2.8 Macro

whats the ratio for sp90? is it any different with a 55200 lens?

not so say must buy SP90 for macro... but it is the lens commonly use in this thread/forum....

for tat range u can oso choose fr Sony 100mm, Minolta 100mm, Sigma 105mm

the link in alphanatics..he is selling with the adapter thingy right..so i assume its 1:1 =p

but stil..if let me choose it..i'll probably get tamron/minolta..whichever its easier/cheaper to get

Ah. thanks for clarifying. total noob here. Having problem focusing the eye (due to tinyness) with 55200. Thats why want to know more.

u need a true macro lens.... later can add the dcr-250 to it to gain more magnification power....

For stationary objects you could get 30mm or 50mm la. But if bugs most like need 100++. (:
