Guy in orange shirt, no idea, as I suspect you're using Head, I wanna say Ci Long, but I have met Ci Long once in 97, I doubt its him though....x-p

Guy in green/black hahahha this must be Mr Bird's Nest himself!!! I recognise because of racket PDRGT as well.

Guy with racket over his shoulders.... I cannot make out the racket, so I can't so who it is..

Guy with another head racket, white shirt.... no idea leh.... :-(

Guy with Yonex racket This one MUST be Ckseong80 if not Nabbaydian! :-p Only these 2 gila Yonex one!

Looks like a bad fake....to me, ask the seller to meet C.O.D , buyer can inspect kau kau, but I have my suspicion that Wilson is a fake,as for the Head racket, I am pretty sure the model in the link, is only made in China, don;t have any US made Head rackets for a loooong ass time.

Also just a friendly reminder, coz we are all friends here, if a deal is too good to be true, it probably is, I know alot of us, sometimes ,myself included we search high & low for the best deals, but you really got to ask yourself, if its a P.O.S fake racket how much is it worth your time, to chase seller, racket play like crap, naturally bogus racket, may injure your hitting arm.

no offence guys...

i played with few fake racquet before (testing purpose) and it feels like the original one. For instant, APDC, Head Microgel extreme, radical OS feels the same fake & ori.

difference is cosmetic and reliability. the feels is almost the same. For beginner who know nuts abt tennis is ok to buy. Even parents can buy for their kids who just started tennis...they wont know.
*
I disagree I have tried countless of counterfeit rackets they all play like crap, some of my friends 'scored' a huge deal some Babolats and Wilsons at a real good price, he was bragging about his good fortune, naturally I kept quiet as I didn't want to hurt his feeling and risk ruining our friendship. However I just had to tell him when he conveniently wanted to sell all his newly purchased rackets to some of my students at near retail prices, if he had kept them I would of kept quiet and let him enjoy his purchase, imagine asking someone to pay RM699.00 for K6.1 tour when he originally purchased it for RM115.00 ( original price was in Indonesian currency)

If you like how your 'fake' racket plays more power to you.I have heard the 'fake' Babolats are real killers on the arm.

Hey guys,

I have lobang to get brand new Head youtek radical and speed line of brand new rackets for RM 550... anyone interested , do let me know...

ZING! Thats a real sweeet kick ass deal man, better post this in tennis.my as well! :-D

QUOTE(mikeair @ Dec 2 2009, 06:57 PM)
want to ask you guys, if u are using polyster string, like those alu series...
did u guys lower the tension as recommened from the manufacturer?
*
I would definitely go lower, Luxilon is a 1st generation poly its stiff as hell, it should kill your arm if you string it around 58-60lbs, if it doesn't more power to you, however I highly suggest you string this lower esp on rackets that are 95 and below, I use to string Luxilon at a mere 48 lbs, it played beautiful for the first 30 mins, then died on me.....to be honest Luxilon is over rated however it is a premium poly if you can afford it, go for it, if you're looking to stretch your budget, try Pro Supex Blue Gear, Signum Pro Hyperion, Signum Pro Tornado, MSV Hex Focus, Cyberblue(sounds like something out of a porn movie lol), if you don't like full poly set up, you can hybrid with a soft synthetic like Gosen, if you want to try a multi (not recommended) you can, use whatever works for you.

I posted this originally on tennis.my , whoever hasn't registered, you seriously should, its a kick ass site still in infancy, but it will grow! It has a nice chat feature, please feel free to intro yourself there, I 'd loved to chat and learn about about tennis related stuff with you guys.

My new light saber ..... all you K6.1 tour lovers out there....bwhahahahah

The pics on the tennis court are mine, the other is what the 'finished' product is supposed to look like,(the finished product is NOT mine, all props/credit belongs to Paul Lorenzo!

I am now going via tennis-warehouse guide lines on the way they list their strings, if you want to be politically correct some synthetic guts can be considered multifilament strings, but nowadays 'supposedly' synthetic strings are just synthetic strings , multifilaments are strings like Babolat Excel, Wilson NXT, if you see the trend, you won't really say Prince synthetic gut is a true multifilament string, it could be just me, but check it out yourself, tennisware house list its string in this categories:-p

i think de structure is slightly different...syn. gut normally has a solid centre core...multi has fibres n like its name..multifilaments..n i think syn gut is more durable especially those wif duraflex/wearguard...i think...n multifil is a lot more expensive...

btw..prae bro...which place of sabah u r at?KK?sandakan?

it's not like i am promoting the fake racquet. I do agree some are crap but the one i've tested feels similar, only i believed there will be a reliability issue later on. It's all back to preference. If it's ok with arm and it's ok with the playing style, then it is a good buy.

in the earlier post i did mention there are grade to this fake racquet. Just like our football jersey. Some with Grade A, AA, AAA etc. I believe this will be the same with fake racquet. In mudah they r selling Head for 200 bucks, the one i tested cost 450 buck compared to 700+ for original Microgel.

What i know is they get the fake racquet directly from China. Some cheaper and some more expensive.

If u r experience enough in tennis, better buy the original....

Thats your opinion and you're entitled to it, if I see a fake I just call it a fake, if I bothered to grade em A, AAA,AAA....its all fake in my humble opinion :-/
im using microgel radical 98" with HEAD Sonic pro 17 string, strung at 58..
another stick is strung with alu spin as main and enduro as cross at 60..
hm so far it didn't kill my arm, but somehow sometime can play well, sometime like shit.....
*
When was this string job? If it was at least a month ago, I suspect either your ALU has died, and Enduro is a semi decent string (Wilson Enduro, is it?) it stretches ALOT, so it may of reached its stretching point, if you can afford Luxilon, you owe to yourself to try some of the strings I mentioned, I apologize I left out Tecnifibre's Blackcode, its worth a mention as well, this seller has it

http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1209208&hl=

For RM46, it worth at least a try, hopefully you will find something you like, for this string its 'soft' you can string it higher, for a Radical 98, I would recommend 58-62 lbs.Hopefully it works out for you, please post feedback as I love to know your opinion on it!

Sorry bro..... all CREDIT belongs to Mr.Paul Lorenzo, (talk-tennis-warehouse)this idea was his creation, not mine, I merely sought his advice, and copied his racket to the proverbial 'T'. The only difference is his is complete, mine I haven't decided on what 'lettering's ' to add on mine, my other equipment to complete my paintjob is not here yet, US supplier has no stock, because of the friggin Christmas holidays, my paintjob is incomplete, I was gonna add my name, the 'RF' Logo (maybe) and will add K Six One Tour like on the new BLX....,RF logo dunno where to put...lol.

Again I STRESS I am NOT the original creator of this spectacular design!!!
ALL CREDIT goes to Mr.Paul Lorenzo!!!

No harm, no foul, better to be safe than sorry, that's why in my original post with the pics, I credited the creator of the racket, kinda paiseh and not nice to take credit for something I didn't create, paint wise all bought from ebay, specialized paint, naturally I live in ulu tempat so I can't find it here, order from ebay, the other stuff won't come till next year, out of stock....GRrrrrrr

I think I have some family in Miri, Taman Hilltop but very distant the last time I was there was like 97 or 98.Heard they may of moved out to bigger house :-o

I use to vist Miri frequently as I was in Brunei, before.
