1) How to play with your frens?
- Open your wireless and enter guild hall together with your frens.

2) Anyone near Sg Buloh area?
- I dont think so..i live around sungai also but its sungai klang

3) If i play offline, will i able to lock all equipment annd weapon?
- Yes. indeed you can get better/ rarer equipments and material in the guild hall.

i dont play MH1 so i cant answer you that...perhaps you mean gun lance? for gun lance you may ask Kaeza bcox he is the GG ( Gunlance God  )

heavy gun == heavy bowgun?

gunlance only shoot a short distance if compared to light/heavy bowgun

i think GS, SnS, Lance, Hammer and bowguns are there since MH1

GS charge, LS, DS, HH, GL, Bows are newly introduced in MH2... some LS are GS in MH1... imagine blocking teostra flame with devil slicer... 

correct me if i'm wrong... there's a huge possibility i might be wrong

try search for psp2000 in LYN garage sales

usually people who start off with ls would end up choosing between gs and hammer.

ls has both reach and speed
but players tend to want to specialize, so they choose between
gs - reach
hammer - speed

GL is kind of tricky, but as kz said, you can pinpoint your attacks so you will keep attacking parts you are aiming for. gl is quite dependable, it has a very stable damage output (fast "infinite" combo too).

i doubt u d have the strength to even hold it... i dont think i can. and i guess i wont be able to run with it on my back either.

if mh was like real life, just having the gs on my back and walking would drain my "stamina bar" to 0 in less than 100 metre or even less (i m not fit ), and my staminabar max would be reduced to 10 too.... XP

oh and depending on bosses, on certain bosses it would be better to block roars/flash/quake.... such as.... ukanlos!!!

- affinity is always bad

but usually in most cases can be fixed/ignored.

to fix you need to get reckless abandon + 3 (gives + affinity)
for gs users, - affinity is not even a real problem, coz theres one skill which makes the first hit autocrit. gs is more or less about getting the most out of one hit, so it works magnificently.

check the older posts that i wrote on this thread or on V5 for in depth explaination

erm, to me in the begining of the game

for gs the most important is a long green

another thing, sharpness is actually better than raw damage.

akantor gs is green with 1500 raw (i think)

diablos gs is purple with 1488 raw, but diablos wins coz green sharpness gives 10-15% bonus damage while purple give 50%

not only that, with better sharpness u can cut thru more things without bouncing.

some people thing that bouncing is good as they can keep attacking none stop, but the truth is every bounce will mean you are doing only 1/3 of normal damage and your weapon gets blunt twice as fast.

Added on December 1, 2009, 3:09 pmdont worry about blowing ur cash/resources on early gs's. they're still "cheap" and the items are easy to "farm"

i would recommend you to aim for 3 gs's

1- ceanatur gs = not so high raw but is one of the sharpest gs in the game (so sharp until artisan gives no bonus to its sharpness)

2- tigrex gs = same sharpness (more or less) with ceanatur gs, has much higher raw and is comparable with diablos. i would say this is the 2nd strongest gs in the game. it has -30% affinity but can be fixed, with either ra+3 or art of unsheathing (first attack auto crit)

3- diablos gs = best gs ever, but needs art of unsheathing + artisan to make it the best. end game weapon.

other notable gs's:

sentoryu wolf = 3 slots, 40% affinity but white sharpness, good for getting more skills

rathian+rathalos gs = high raw but gives some dragon element. needed to break elder dragon horns to kill them easier

one reason why i gave up was i tried playing guild hall, 2 star rathalos.

my weapons cant even scratch him (all bounced)

i was like "wtf how the f m i gonna kill this shit?"

ZamAda, since your preferable weapon class is LS and HBG, there are some skills fits the best for LS and HBG

Example:

LS you may look for

- sharpness
- reckless abandon
-sharp sword
- ear plug/ high grade ear plug
-shock resistance
- element atck up
- wat else you guys suggest

HBG

-auto reload (must have)
- normal pellet up
-element atck up
-evade +2 (must have)
-evade distance increase (must have)
-earplug/HGE
- wat else you guys suggest
