If changing to SB, i need to change mobo and proc sweat.gif which is quite over my budget sweat.gif . Just the 2 card cost me RM1.8k already tongue.gif

And from what i know SB mobo runs on x8 / x 8 PEG bandwidth when SLi rclxub.gif

But I thought sandy bridge uses pcie 3.0 which has twice the bandwidth of 2.0, so if you're running at x8, it's the same as running x16 in x58 .

PCI-E 3.0? You sure about that? As far as i know all P67 chipset still using PCI-E 2.0.

Example as Asus P8P67 and Asus Maximus 4 Extreme also stated they are running PCI-E 2.0 sweat.gif . You think Asus typo on those spec? cool2.gif

The only 3.0 i think of is the Revision 3.0 for fixing the SATA issue laugh.gif

Oyaji, the sata port on your board really make your sata cable not nice, others than that is awesome.

what to do, that's the board that I could afford at the time when I want my first desktop (still a noob at that time lol). To upgrade to a better board might not be feasible at the moment.

Actually the sata cable initially already looked nice to me until a friend of mine who's helping me cleaning my rig start to make the cables curly-ish so I had to 'uncurly' it back when I redo my cable management. laugh.gif

Why dont spend some time and do better cable management ? For example , I can pretty sure that the 8pin for mobo should can be route behind mobo tray and most the cables such as 4pin molex at hdd tray can be hided as well .
