And if so happen Mara did include AutoCad or any professional program in only two laptops, it sounds very wrong.. - How do you justify installing AutoCad or any professional program in only two laptops is sounding very wrong?? I'm getting more and more baffled with your comments as if you're trying to sound more and more....... Professional software doesn't comes cheap and only those who needs it can justify the purchases of it. In any case, MARA might not even know what AutoCad is in given the mentality that "they've portrait" in such purchase!

Hahaha!!

Gosh, you're making me sounding like I'm defending MARA for making such decision but please understand that I condemn corruption and corrupt practices very much. I'm just trying to make some sense in how such an amount for such asset acquisition can passed the account/finance side for approval in the first place. I'm more incline to discuss the technicality of the purchase than the morality of it. And yes, it sounded very suspicious but we could be really barking up the wrong tree mate!

I don't know what are you trying to justify the expenses of Rm84k for the purchase of 2 lappy.

The argument of inclusive so call professional software or AUTOCAD really a big smack on your own face. Either you are questioning the credibility of the auditor or yourself have a very low IQ.

For the purchase of equipment, everyone can make easy comparison between market price and quoted price. For me if there is fluctuation between 1%~5% is still acceptable but the auditor's report writtten the price paid is about 1000% more than market price. We only can question the auditor credibility after MARA give strong and solid evidence to justify the price paid for the 2 lappy.

2ndly, using professional/commercial software to be inclusive into the same quotation is the most unprofessional ethics.
REASON :
1. Once it is inclusive into the hardware price, who going to give the software after sales support? The hardware supplier have to give this service instead of software maker. So again the hardware supplier jack up the software price again. (smart way to make more cut-throat $$$ with no responsibility in sense)
2. I checked the spec of the lappy
sos kicap :
http://www.laptopviews.com/acer-laptops/ac...-anwxmi-laptop/
the IGP definate can't support the AUTOCAD program smoothly. If use for education or presentation purpose, it will be phailed
[in this case, that add 1 more reason y MARAs' grad so unemployable]
3. Software security greatly compromised. If really the $$$ is spent for the software, who would control the software's license?Having a retail license means I can resale the program to 3rd party. BTW the software license is belong to government. Getting the volume licensing policy is much more better in cost and software control. But then this license policy is only provided by software maker. If the hardware supplier can quote this license policy into their quotation, I believe its violate the business rights.

Now I start to understand the "1Malaysia" thingy.
It is just a propaganda to ensure all Malaysia to have 1digit IQ
