both has glossy finishing.
k40ab has carbon-fibre pattern like while g450 has strip pattern in it.
both has solid build quality.

the k40ab should have cooler palm rest and the heatsink is at the back, so the heat is more concentrated at the center back.
while g450 heatsink is located at the side.

and one more is, k40ab don't have bluetooth.
g450, not sure.

benq s42(nvidia 9600m t), sager np2098 (hd4650), benq s57(hd4650), ideapad y450 (gt130m), ideapad y550(gt240M), vaio cw16(gt230m), dell sxps 16(hd4670).

So Dell still reliable? really wonder of their product quality, i heard a lot complains about machine failure. Otherwise i will choose Dell, kinda like it
btw, which processor is better for gaming now? i mean the stable one, C2D or C2Q or i7??
