got even better spec, BenQ S42, P8700 + nvidia 9600M GT DDR3 vram, freedos, can be found as low as rm 2699 smile.gif

design and screen size of the notebook also another factor ^^

price:performance ratio is not always good for sony notebook.
their selling points mostly is design and light weight(in some notebook), with a hefty pricetag

there are many other better alternatives for other usage.

well, as for 4810TG, better take asus ul80vt, better spec and longer warranty for the similar price.
macbook is only worthy if you want to use mac os x.

as for sxps 16, the battery life... i'm expecting 2-3 hours depending power management

consider asus k40ab with hd4570 or lenovo g450 with g210m, both rm 1999

under 2k with dell, you only can get integrated gpu intel gma4500mhd, which is not gaming-friendly.

mostly from what I saw is compaq, acer, abit of dell.
for the current best gaming notebook under 2k is asus k40ab/lenovo g450 with g210m nod.gif

other notebook with similar spec would be sager np2098.
else, lower performance, benq s42, studio 15, toshiba l510-s4314
