depends on you, sxps 16 is certainly better, but you can also spend less with studio 15 + 3 years warranty.

you need to concern more on gpu if want gaming, any c2d with 2.0ghz above is sufficient, mostly.

well, if want P series.. samsung r470, p8600, g105m, 14'' should be around rm 25xx.

performance: Asus U80V, 2.1kg, user report can reach 5 hours in light usage.
battery life: Asus UL80VT, 2.1kg, should be 6hours ++

13'':
performance: Acer 3935, Inspiron 13
battery: Asus UL30VT, 1.7-1.8kg, 6hours++

you buy mac because of mac os x, other than that, not really worthy
and if its matter of design, I can't say much more.

Asus UL80VT, should be around rm 2899
BenQ s57, last time is RM 3299-rm 3399
do note UL80VT and S57 is different purpose of notebook.

L510-S438 is t6600 and HD4570

UL80VT is more on the long battery life, around 8hours, but with some gaming capability.
while the BenQ S57 is mid gaming notebook, battery life 2-3hours
