QUOTE(EroTe @ Nov 28 2009, 11:31 PM) So Dell still reliable? really wonder of their product quality, i heard a lot complains about machine failure. Otherwise i will choose Dell, kinda like it well, the 8400m/8600m doesn't affect Dell only, other major brands also, like sony, acer, asus, etc.btw, which processor is better for gaming now? i mean the stable one, C2D or C2Q or i7?? for gaming, stick with C2D and C2Q. |

the g210m is better than hd4330.
photoshop is more about CPU and RAM. GPU is useful when applying effects and doing 3D in it. This post has been edited by lee_what2004: Nov 29 2009, 10:23 AM |

well, keyboard and design can be subjective.

QUOTE(ahshuy @ Nov 30 2009, 03:48 PM) Hi everyone, well, the problem is starcraft 2, diablo 3 is not yet released, and such, can't say much on it except just guessing.im eying studio xps 16 as one of my desired laptop, below are my desired spec Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T9550(2.66GH, 6MB Cache, 1066 MHz FSB) Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium 64bit (English) 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 3-year XPS Premier Service with 3-year CompleteCover for RM4,843 but, at the same time, i would also consider this laptop (dell studio 15) Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T6600 (2.20GHz/ 800 FSB/ 2MB Cache) Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium 64bit (English) 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 3-year XPS Premier Service with 3-year CompleteCover for RM3,160 criteria 1) Im not a hardcore gamer, but im expecting this laptop at least can perform Starcraft2, Diablo3 or any other latest game in MINIMUM setting and playable. 2) I hope this laptop at least is sustainable for 3 years, thats mean 3 years from now this laptop will be able to run most of the application, software n trouble-free too. (therefore 3years complete cover is a must!) 3) my maximum budget is below RM5,000 4) i dun wanna spend too much for laptop, if dell studio 15 can fulfill all the criteria above, then its definitely worth a try Given 2 choices, which 1 should i go for it? |
