which spec of S57 is better than aspire 5740?? seems the gpu of aspire 5740 is better than S57.

aspire 5740 is using hd5470 which basically hd4570 rebranded, overclocked,
while s57 is using hd4650, another level up.

Guys i was tear between Asus k40AB and Lenovo G450. Which one should i get?
My usage would be Photoshop and gaming.

Or you guys got any suggestion that lower than 2k?

if more into gaming, k40ab,
more into photosho, g450

if compaq considered, compaq presario CQ36-110TX, though slower gpu.
if strictly hp, don't have any with hd4570, but got hp dv6 with hd4650.
other brand would be acer 5740g.

Hey Guys, i plan to get Benq S57. But then i wen to digital mall today, i asked people about BenQ laptop. they told me the quality is not good. So is there any suggestion about Benq S57.
and also , BenQ s57 and Sager N2098. Which is better? Any Suggestion? Sager is more expensive. But then function i dont , so anyone know? Hmm

imo, both are good. but benq u will get local warranty while sager i donno. the specs are quite similar but s57 got blue-ray. meanwhile Np2098 got fingerprint detector.

u get better after sale service if u get S57 as BenQ provide on-site pickup but NP2098 may has better build quality but the warranty will not be as convenient as S57. My suggestion, if u get S57, get a HDMI cable too ^^

o~~i will have a try~becos my first target is S57...it was in my budget range~~but when i go lowyat all the shop told me it had out of stock....so i m going to choose another laptop again ...

if can up more, consider vaio cw16, now sells rm 3699, p8700 + nvidia gt230m
if strictly under 3.5k, sager np2098 if don't mind online shopping, else would be benq s57,
not much model between 3-3.5k, next step up would be rm 3999 studio xps 16....

well, actually the k40ab and g450 can do both photoshop and gaming, just probably got delays couple seconds

my friend do photoshop with his T6600... it's not as slow as u thought (he is a patience guy)

and I still can do photoshop with my t2250, just really depends how impatient you are
