If you talking about the Rm2399, then I would say the performance is enough for average use such as browsing and office work. If you wanted to do multimedia stuff such as AutoCad and AAF, the performance would be sluggish.

under 2k with dell, you only can get integrated gpu intel gma4500mhd, which is not gaming-friendly.

even online game ? =(

mostly from what I saw is compaq, acer, abit of dell.
for the current best gaming notebook under 2k is asus k40ab/lenovo g450 with g210m

hi lads n gals,

after doing some survey i was about to decide between compaq cq 35-331tx and acer aspire 4736g.
both have more or less similar specs (t6600, nvidia 105m, hdd 500gb, wifi n, w7hp).
but after going through this post i dunno what to buy anymore... - what are the problems with compaq n acer?
i'd love to buy asus but my budget is 2500 rm max and i am sick of pirated win, so i wanna buy one.

another thing to consider is that Asus offers 2yrs int'l warranty, while Lenovo is 1yr regional warranty (ASEAN + China)...
