I might get my saga soon, some doubt to ask saga owner.

1. older car odometer usually has two reading, one is total KM and another one is KM/trip which can be reset every time pump oil. From what I see from the screenshot online http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dBa1eLzHOSY/SqPF...-h/DSC01015.JPG , I only see one meter reading, which is probably the total KM, so how do we read KM/trip, need to deduct the KM everytime pump oil, or got any switch to see the KM/trip reading?

2. I currently driving 1997 wira 1.3cc, driving speed average ard 50-70km/hr daily, FC is around RM55 for 320KM, will saga manual FC better than this or worst?

Hopefully can get answer here smile.gif

1. Did you saw the dial between the RPM meter and speedometer? press to alternate between trip meter and mileage meter, after refuel, hold for few seconds will reset the trip meter. There just didn't show both at the same time only. nod.gif

2. Depends on traffic condition and ur right foot. If there is no stop-go traffic jam and can cruising at 50-70 constant speed, then Saga manual is a fuel saver...at >60km/h actually could change to 5th gear and the engine RPM will only around 2000(given that no load in car, only driver alone), then FC will be very good. Mine Saga manual can achieved RM0.13/KM (RON95), which is RM55 for 420KM for daily working @ 70-90km/h and 30% stop-go.

Can switch the meter reading la, this is what I think also. Confused by that blog owner because he said he keep deducting the km after pump oil, haha sweat.gif

wow, your FC is good, as long as it can has my wira FC I already very happy, cos I heard my aunt said her saga auto (1st batch) full tank only can drive for 194km, that's too terrible, but I'm not sure how she count the FC.

She also mention that the saga can't start at one morning and the SC said it's related to the petrol problem. Yesterday I asked SA bout this and he told me that changing petrol between RON95 and 97 will cost the engine can't start, is this true?

If you read through this thread, alot of Auto users suffer terrible FC, about 16-20cents/KM in traffic jam condition or city drive, i don't know how their actual driving condition, so far rare complaint from Manual users suffer high FC in this thread, not sure whether majority is AT user or what.

For start up problem, i did changed from RON95 to 97 last week, so far no problem during morning cold start for whole week, and today just switched back to 95, maybe tmr cold start see whether got problem or not.

You cannot compare auto and MT fc..your wira is MT right? If u compare wira MT and saga MT FC then saga should give you better FC based on what you just said RM 55 only get 320 km.

Greetings Guys,

Does anyone here experience before such incident whereby the car won't really be able to pickup or accelerate when you just started your engine with the heat level around 1 to 2 bars ? unsure.gif
