i thought if u loan car for 5 years above can get 2 + 3 years (3 years is from bank, first two years from proton if not mistaken)...the + 3 years is called extended warranty..that's from what i understand and what my bank told me.

i only support old malaysian's product as my old satria still running strong n powerfull n still doin it's 200km/h~  brows.gif
but new 1 from campro not really statisfy s it's a bit laggy response on gear change n other than tat QC from proton isn't very good also but hope tat they'll improve n not jus cut cost again as i nearly get heart attack installing front absorber where d top nut securing d absorber mounting nearly got jammed again 2day n i'll goin 2 cry as i kena 1 time from our dear fren ichigotai's front left absorber got jammed while mounting it back softly n wasted sum of his time n money in my dad's workshop replacing new absorber~
but so far d interior for BLM is not bad~  icon_rolleyes.gif
i used 2 b there cuz i was planning 2 change car from my SLK to myvi then ended up did not get it as our G raise our petrol to rm2.70 per L then everything also raise up so i took up a 2ndhand car which is my satria.
now i'm hanging there jus to assist+help dignose wat is da prob they normally got in n wat they need n wat 2 do~
i dun promote myself there but they r sum of my customer who drove myvi promoted me there n 1 of their moderator also came for my service wit his monster myvi~  wink.gif
anyway u can give me a call at 012-2792112 to get my exact location as i'm not allowed to post n publish my dad's workshop on9~
btw my nick is my real name~
*
ok dude..eh how about u pm me your dad's workshop is that ok?

Notice that even though australia get a cheap 1.6, they cut some stuff...if u see the brochure u will notice the wheels are steel type, 13", no chrome inner door handle, no reverse sensor, seat fabric is probably b-line version one, no fog lamp! (see the picture in the brochure, there's a hole.In fact i think its not m-line but b-line spec...) but if u see their upgrades available there's:

Remote Boot Release Kit
Bonnet & Head Lamp Protectors
Alloy Wheels
Safety Kit
Reverse Sensors
Body Kit
Rear Spoiler (interesting..wonder how this looks like)
Slimline Weathershields (what's this???)
Number Plate Protectors (6-Digit)
Boot Liner (what's this??)
Tow Bar & Wiring Loom (what's this???)
Floor Mats
Dash Mat
Sun Shades
CD Case
Mud Flaps
Upgradable Audio Unit

I wonder if proton will provide the upgrades for us in malaysia...but its b-line with 7 colors to choose from and 1.6 engine..if they offered this here, sure a lot of pple will buy..

quite bad... bad ....
Sent to COE direct, at shah alam there? Those service centre not pro enough to handle?
*
yes coe direct better cos u go SC if u not lucky they also dunno how to handle. go COE straight solve problem faster.

Added on November 12, 2009, 9:03 pmbline fc should be slightly better cos lighter, less accessories like sensor, foglamp, etc..for 1.6 should be even better if not mistaken cos the car is light, 1.6 need less push from accelerator which translates to better FC. correct me if i'm wrong ya.

for australia, i dunno but usually export market is better due to stricter QC. tell u what, japan cars come here also better than those in japan itself supposedly..but at the end of the day, jz be happy with ur car..its value for money..i have no regrets buying saga as my 2nd car after selling my myvi 1.0.

Yup, better engine even higher CC will have good FC also...My dad old school Toyota Corona 2.0GLI can manage 0.12-13 cents/KM if cruising @ 110KM/h at highway...

For BLM honestly 1.3 for 10XXKG is ngam ngam only, if you let say pick 4 adult, than you will feel helpless when you want to overtake car. Last time 2 'strong' men (90kg each) + 2 'normal' men (55kg each) ride my car, i have to rev until 3K before i shift gear (normally only me i shift at 2.2K)...and the throttle totally no response at 5 gear @ 70KM/h @ 2.3K RPM, if steady cruising is OK, want pickup is very hard...FYI mine is MT, if AT, i guess you will suffer like hell, i think you step your throttle heavily and shift @ 4K, but your FC will like drink water... laugh.gif
*
erm i always shift gear at 3k...if u shift gear so low usually cant pick up 1..that's normal mar...u have to rev more if u have more pple in ur car, that's natural.

u reminds me the story of wira
wira oso 10XXkg.
if wira 1.6 car also very imba.
too bad my house no wira 1.6, else i wont get the current red babes.

perodua and toyota very sucess to make the car lighter
u see kelisa around 900kg
myvi 940kg
even the new MPV oso 1050kg.

Even lighter than saga m-line which is 1080kg!!!
toyota vios J is 1020kg which is same wif my car.

good handling is not a main factor in malaysia market? normal ppl need good city car, not cornering car.
jz 2 my cent.
*
actually lighter not so good also, it could be the cut cost in terms of the car body...not safe...but you have to know that toyota has been in the industry for so many years world wide, they have more staff, more experience in the motor industry...u cant really compare a major player with proton who is still growing, even though they're already in the business for 20 or so years, but they have been protected by govt for too long, also cause a lot of problems and failures...nevertheless, I think they are improving, otherwise i wun even dare to buy a proton.

Can switch the meter reading la, this is what I think also. Confused by that blog owner because he said he keep deducting the km after pump oil, haha sweat.gif

wow, your FC is good, as long as it can has my wira FC I already very happy, cos I heard my aunt said her saga auto (1st batch) full tank only can drive for 194km, that's too terrible, but I'm not sure how she count the FC.

She also mention that the saga can't start at one morning and the SC said it's related to the petrol problem. Yesterday I asked SA  bout this and he told me that changing petrol between RON95 and 97 will cost the engine can't start, is this true?
*
You cannot compare auto and MT fc..your wira is MT right? If u compare wira MT and saga MT FC then saga should give you better FC based on what you just said RM 55 only get 320 km.
