A distributor already said its going to be sold on 18/1/2010. Plus someone already said they saw a shop having stock of these, just havent start selling due to Motorola havent announced it.

As for price, with all the added shipping and tax (I think you'll be taxed for it), I think the price either would be the same or probably more.

Just get the AP. Find a good shop and you might get price lower than RM2.3k

I have no idea as it was not who saw it. But IIRC that person said it was Mines. Don't know which shop though.


This is very true. I've been thinking this myself since Milestone is such an expensive phone and somewhat new to Malaysian market. If something happened, I'm not sure I want to trust any service shop handling the phone.

Of course its that high. Official phones are always expensive due to tax. That's why APs are everywhere. They're just a lot cheaper. For Milestone, it's about RM2300 I see someone post. Probably can find some cheaper ones if you look around.

Last video I saw was quite smooth actually. And the upcoming 2.1 release will make it even more smoother from what I read.

Why don't you just get the AP sets if you can't wait for official from Moto. Or buy it from SG.

Not going to deny but that's the whole point of buying smart. Check the items on spot.

Plus buying from Germany, that's a whole another risk there.

Shadow right now is merely a rumor. Nothing official from google or MOTO. Just plain rumor. No one even knows if the picture is fan rendered of real.

Basically getting a super user access to your phone so you can practically do anything you want with it. It is just a linux underneath. Not that you can grab any linux stuff and put it on your phone, but it opens up to a whole lot more options in 'customizing' your phone.

You can on some of them. But not all. Whatever it is, wherever you're buying, make sure to thoroughly check the phone. Make sure everything is there and all genuine.

That is true really. Moto has been really on a downhill for quite some time. They've only been trying to get better with the launvhes of Android phone. Droid alone is enough to boost Moto's reputation but having N2 for their upcoming release will sure bring Moto back into the game.

You should really check up on the previous post. AP sets are already being sold in several places.

As for Moto official, they WILL be releasing it. WHEN? Who knows. Many dates has passed and still no sign of Moto announcing it. Just grab an AP set if you can't wait for the indecisive MOTO. Much cheaper too.

Well that's just how AP is. When it comes to warranty it's a tough call. What AP dealer was it?

May I ask where is the shop located? Specific location (if in shopping mall, which floor, near what etc) would be nice
Been looking around for shops that carries it. Wanna play around with it first
