Tentative specs' sheet (Mobilecrunch):-
According to the super secret document that found its way to AndroidAndMe, the Tao will purportedly be the “world’s thinnest” slider QWERTY phone at 13.7mm thick. Yes, please! Other juicy tidbits include: a 3.7″ 16:9 touch screen display, 16GB built-in storage, 5MP camera with dual LED flash, full HTML browser with Flash support, and supposedly the next generation of Android, the big 2.0.

Here are the rest of the leaked specs:

* OMAP3430 – 600 MHz ARM Cortex A8 + PowerVR SGX 530 GPU + 430MHz C64x+ DSP + ISP (Image Signal Processor)
* Dimensions 60.00 x 115.80 x 13.70 mm
* Weight 169 g
* Battery Li-ion 1400 mAh.
* Standby 450 hours, talk time 420 minutes
* 3.7-inch touch-sensitive display with a resolution of 854×480 pixels, 16 million color depth. Physical screen size is 45.72 mm by 81.34 mm.
* 512MB/256MB ROM/RAM
* microSD / microSDHC expansion slot
* Camera: 5.0 megapixel with autofocus and video recorder
* Connectivity: USB2.0, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, Wi-Fi
* Operating System: Android 2.0 (with Eclair, no Motoblur)
* Package Contents: Phone Motorola Sholes, battery, charger, USB cable, 8GB MicroSD memory card and other literature.

If i am not mistaken is using the same processor as the Iphone 3gs. Going to be interesting. Design looks a bit like the HTC Diamond 2.

Both models are CDMA cuz they are from verizon, we here use GSM, no way it can be used here, it doesn't even have a freaking sim card.

really ??.. so it wouldn't release here ?? .. its a bad new for us android fans and user outside the us country .... y they do specialize the android device phone in europe n us ... y they din do worldwide ?? sprint and verizon are taking advantages ... for this ... the only 1 i hate about android device marketing ...

there is 1 more vid about droid that i cant post ... short motodroid hand-on

$199 is freaking cheap for the device ...even same price with ipod touch 3g 8gb.. and also creative zii egg... this phone almost perfect as it is .. the screen display looks so well .. the touch screen is perfectly responsive .. urghhhhhhh~!!! y do they just sell there only ...

i noe but it really2 cheap and 2 years contract with verizon ....i think at US country ... services are cheaper than here .. i din expect that the contract are same price as the device monthly ... even .. it hapens .... 199x2 = 398 ... still far cheaper than hero here ....

u know y they are same ?
b'coz Iphone 3GS is using motorola chip as well...

this chip is developed by moto.

Since This chipset can installed in Android 2.0


I believe Iphone also can install Android 2.0 OS. ( Correct me if wrong )
