While the Milestone keypad looks nice, but it has a huge flaw in it. It was too flat that sometimes typing a message will be quite a pain in the arse. Sorry, not arse. thumb would be appropriate.

There was one time I was typing while on the go and I nearly dropped my phone between the monorail rail because I was trying to "mash" one of the button which was positioned at a not so strategic place. Don't ask me which, I've forgotten which button. And also there are a few time when I am typing with my sweaty fingers, occasionally I slipped and made a typo instead.

true...agree with u too..if droid 2 can follow the design of milestone then take away the trackpad and make the key not that flat, it will be nicer looking than the shown droid 2 keypad...actually is the trackpad useful?

nope. It should go for good.
I never used it till now eversince I've bought the phone.

I'm debating of getting a Milestone (AP set) but I was wondering about aftersale support?

Are there any authorized service center for Motorola in KL? also where can I get accessories for the Milestone other than online?
*
there is no authorized service center at KL.
Nearest is at Sunway Mentari.

Hi guys, do you all feel that the gap between your screen and keyboard getting bigger and bigger after sometimes using it ?
*
How long have you got your unit? My unit do have a gap but it is a good thing because the slidinh mechanism is a lot smoother now. When I got my unit at first, it feels like scratching the back of the screen.

I use radio clock that my company gave me.
The alarm is annoying enough to keep me awake. biggrin.gif
Saves my milestone the hassle to wake me up

Just take it with a pinch of salt
Afterall, the general public has been always bias towards less known brands like Motorola.
