I guess it's cheaper because of the processor. Anyway when you customise it like the RM3999 or RM4699 version, it would be cheaper about RM200 LoL.. Tried it already cheaper to customise from the RM3499 base spec |

Not problems.. The key here is optimisation..
If your game/app does not use 4 cores or more.. It would be a waste.. Im not sure how the turbo works though.. I think its only 1 Core will be turbo boosted to 2.8GHz for the Corei7-720QM 1.6GHz.. |

QUOTE(Dackson @ Dec 11 2009, 02:24 PM) haha~ Your statement sounds abit wrong.. its not the macbook optimise the usage of Intel Processor better than OEM...bcoz so slim and consist of 9600Gt and 9400 GS ~~ thinner than envy or even SXPS 16 ^^ moreover mac optimize the used of intel processor better than other OEM~~ Its Mac OSX optimise the usage of Intel Processor better than other OS..... |

QUOTE(Polaris @ Dec 12 2009, 11:19 AM) CODE "Error Loading Operating System" I tried to reboot multiple times but it still would not go to the login screen. Then I tried using F2 and boot from DVD drive using the Vista CD that came with the package... but still failed to boot. What should I do? Bring it to a PC store? Call Dell? Do they work on weekends? Does the fix involve RMA? Reformat? Before this happened.. I set a boot-time chkdsk for a partition (F) around last night, but the comp crashed this morning with a BSOD while I was surfing, and upon restart the chkdsk initiated, which was taking a long time so I went and did something else. Then a couple of hours later I came back and saw a blank screen so I pressed the 'ON' button, then booting was especially slow (showing the hardware listing on every boot up a bit slower than normal), then the above error kept happening.. I just bought this notebook back in September |

It's common for mig-end or high-end laptop systems
Most of the time the palmrest gets hot is due to the harddisk temperature.. |

why not call dell when purchasing? request for 9-cell instead of 6-cell? Instead of getting an extra 9-cell..

Why not wait for the dual-core Core i7?.. Now the Quad-core Core i7 is very low clocked..
There's also a Core i5 2.26GHz Quad-core next year with turbo i think? lol.. |
