I think CM Notepal Infinite better.. Since your laptop will not be directly on contact with the aluminium.. unless you discard ur laptop feet lol..

I think air ventilation is the main component of cooling effect smile.gif

No one interested in Dell Studio XPS 13? tongue.gif

This review amazed me it scored 5231 on 3dmark06 for Nvidia GeForce G210M SLi(9400M). Seems kinda nice for a 13.3" laptop that have this type of performance lol..

Your HDD temps will be better with a cooler pad smile.gif

CPU and GPU still no difference since the heatsink are on the laptops main fan smile.gif

QUOTE(europology @ Dec 26 2009, 01:25 AM)
I'm using i7-720... The processor works well for me, the only prob is the ram. I have 4GB, and I find that the ram consumption is wayyyy greater than Vista! Even during startup, the ram used already reached 30-40%! O.O With Vista, my ram usage barely exceeded 50% even with apps like Photoshop, itunes, browsers opened simultaneously. But with Win7, this will reach 70-80%. There was this one time it warned me of low ram! And bear in mind my previous laptop's ram was only 2GB. Anybody facing the same prob?

Uninstall all the useless crapware/bloatware given by Dell biggrin.gif

or

Do a clean install of Windows 7 biggrin.gif

What antivirus you have in there? If McAfee get rid of it A.S.A.P.(useless memory hogging paid security suite)
Use these ones which are free and better than paid Antivirus
-Avira AntiVir Personal 9
-Avast! Home Edition 4.8(or wait for Avast! 5 Free AntiVirus very very light biggrin.gif and like a security suite without firewall biggrin.gif)
-Panda Cloud Antivirus
-Microsoft Security Essentials

For paid security suite:
-Norton Internet Security 2010
-Kaspersky Internet Security 2010
