my BSOD happens in 1.05v eh.. and i nvr use powerxpress.. hahaa..

aik.. seems like k50ab.. are not so good with the hardwares i guess.. gaming isnt that good..

only 213 bios is available now.. just use it.. i wont cause problem..

u missed out V1 i guess.. somebody asked about it too...

@NaGeNaZ: i see... i tried 1.05V... its always my default undervolt.. sometimes it runs fine.. games... etc.. sometimes it will just go BSOD... its weird.. it seems to me like hardware failure... bad set of k50 i got i guess..

yeah.. but the lower the better wouldnt it be? im on 1.0625 now... well.. sometimes i go to 1.05v... depends on what i am doing with the lappy..
hahaa.. wonder whats so good bout my lappy.. maybe the cooling? hahaa..

asus has 2 yrs warranty. lighter.. cheaper of cos..

erm.. is the compartment for laptop vertical?? if it is.. is shud fit well.. im using a targus for 15.4 too.. compartment is just fine... how about Golla?? they look nice.. almost the same price either..

i think it doesnt matter at all.. shouldnt damage the wireless i suppose.

hmm.. my fren with k40ab... downloaded the 213 bios.. flashed.. but weird.. it doesnt detect 4570 graphics.. on dGPU mode...

on powerxpress, 4570 is detected but when installing modded driver.. it doesnt work.. very weird eh.. anyone encounter this problem??

specially for those who jsut purchase and flash their k40ab????? my k50ab doesnt have problem..

it seems only k40ab is the problem..

hmm.. 213 is the problem.. even in powerxpress mode my fren's lappy cant detect 4570.. oni 3200..

now he reverted back to 203.. dGPU mode.. its fine.. 4570 detected.. aikz..

Added on November 7, 2009, 1:40 pmhmm.. same case applies to my fren's k40ab previously.. he is on the old bios with the stock driver on dGPU mode.. then he updated the bios but on powerxpress mode.. only detect 4570...

and now i help him to update 9.10... but hardware not detected anymore.. its darn weird... i feel k40ab 213 bios is giving problems... so now he reverted back to 203 bios.. on dGPU mode again.. but with 9.10

erm.. i guess urs is the new set.. with ql65 right?? maybe asus disabled the onboard graphics?? im not sure..

my fren's is still on ql64 version.. he can select VGA type in the bios..

well.. if urs is on 4570 all the time.. then it should be fine..

yeap.. i'd prefer that... except ASUS really got the solution for the switching.. hahaa..

the deafult bios is 203.. which in dGPU mode u cant configure brightness..

try flashing bios 213.. download from the asus support website and extract the file then flash it..

he has the ql65 version.. might be new hardware i guess.. his set dont even have to option so switch..

now its the ql64 version.. with the ability to choose the VGA type... but it doesnt detect the hardware..

and the bios update enales u to control ur brightness in dGPU mode..

some sets have problem with the buzz buzz thing when installed srs.. thats wad happened to mine.. i installed srs and now its working fine..

ah.. so its working for u.. are u on powerxpress or dGPU??

SRS.. one of the audio driver.. u can find it in the stock driver installation cd...

216 was released around 2 months ago... but now asus has removed it... no idea why.. now only 213 is available..
