yeap... but graphics driver on win 7 updates isnt recommended.. use the latest 9.10.. way way better.. hahaa modded

as for me.. i feel the modded driver runs smoother than the win7 driver. thats y i went back for the modded..

its best u get the same ram.. cos.. some rams have diff voltage..

as the previous posts said... overclocking the CPU will be useless..

for GPU.. depends on how much u overclock..

thats a weird question ur asking.. if u are going to buy the laptop.. charger and adapter will be provided.

i doubt they use the same bios... well.. since they have both separated.. better download the model u have... 213 and 216.. dont have much change.. u can use either one i guess..

trial and error... good luck in setting up... just install the drivers on asus website.. with the graphic driver on ur own preferences.. and also.. the audio VIA driver u shud download from the website..

its been discussed.. power express is still a buggy thing.. not recommended.. so in the mean time just use dGPU mode until it is fixed..

ur choice.. if ur gonna carry ur lappy around.. 15.6 is not an easy one... well.. now i have my k50ab.. and im not carrying it around at all.. it stays in my room all the time..

if i were to carry it around eg to class.. or outside.. i'd opt for k40.. but for me.. numpad is stil the biggest factor

Added on November 1, 2009, 12:31 pman to add-on.. theres not any other below 2k range lappy with 512MB memory of that clock speed... 4570 at rm2k.. good bargain for economic users.. recommended.. dont hesitate, technology is always evolving.. we wont know months later there might be another better one coming out.. for the mean time.. k40/50ab still rules. haha

ah yea.. hahaa.. the weight problem... basically.. their weight is more or less the same.. no significant difference IMO... when i bought it.. i tried both lappy. and i felt k40ab was heavier.. lolss... so opted k50ab... hahaa

if u have a proper bagpack. ur shoulder would be fine!

unscrew the back panel and u shall see everything... a total of 5 screws to be unscrewed... 1 of them is hidden under the battery cover..

hmmm... k51ab with HD4680 only a few hundred bucks more... tats... simply outrageous..

yea... hopefully.. it will more than that... if it was below 2.5k.. ouch.. dunno where k50ab will stand..

yeap.. with turion puma platform.. hoho..

turion is better compared to athlon.. athlon are already old stocks of AMD
