some user like me don't really care about warranty.. i'm gonna flash cooked rom and hack sooner or later which will void my warranty.. and clover sells much much cheaper.. (if only malaysia price after launched is Rm3200) .. cheers  biggrin.gif i really hope HTC malaysia will sell below Rm3000.. fingers crossed
*
u can claim ur warranty after u have flashed back to the original rom.. so that's not a problem even though u were to flash ur device. SIS provides good services, they even change ur phone body if u have scratches on it...

Added on November 9, 2009, 5:40 pmthis is the review about the battery capacity which i mentioned earlier:

In every respective except for two areas, the HD2 is better than the HD2. The first of these areas is battery capacity, with the HD2 packing 1230mAh, 120mAh less than the HD. We figure that HTC has done a good enough job with battery optimization so that this is a non-issue. Additionally, the HD2 is taller and wider than the HD, though from what we've heard from people that have spent time with pre-production units, the device still fits comfortably in pocket. rclxms.gif

PC fair not sell PC? Why HTC stuff got better deal?
*
basically PC fair is technology fair, so they sell many technology stuffs including PDAs, also PDA = Pocket PC, so why cant PDA be sold in PC fair with good deals? tongue.gif

Just went to Queensbaymall in penang to ask the shops tehre if they know anything about this phone..

When? Next month..
How much? 1 shop = dunno.. other shop = 4k+... because euro price is 3k+

It's kinda way off... but least it's sometime next month...
*
obviously he was just crapping there.... UK's price is 499 GBP which is approximately RM2800+. salesmen are like that, they know that the phone is not out yet but they want you to buy their products, so they would tell you how bad/expensive is that phone and try to convince you to get another phone from them tongue.gif

Winmo where got confusing? all so easy..... anyone this also winmo right?
*
WinMo is indeed more confusing to use when compared to Mac OS but i dun think Winmo is as bad as people are saying. their apps and software makes it so flexible and really an all-in-one device icon_rolleyes.gif

HD2 will definitely be around the price of HD at launch. I mean, it should be common sense, especially when the price at other countries also said so.

Unless HD2 suddenly becomes a super hot product like iPhone where everybody fight to get, then different story lah, vendors will of course sell at cut throat price.

is there enuff applications for winmo? or this new 6.5?
i know iphone sounds shit compare to this la, but it has many awesome application leh
*
Go and google the apps for WinMo and compare them with the apps that iPhone has...
WinMo's apps are tons more than iPhone's.

Added on November 14, 2009, 12:12 amanyway, there's one new app which is called Marketplace where we can download software directly using our phone just like the apps store of iPhone.. no problem

Since WinCE > WinMo2000 > WinMo2003 > WinMo2003SE > Winmo2005 > WinMo6.1 > WinMo6.5  after so many years not much changes. ppl are getting bored. its time to change ppl.

i've been using Hero for the pass 4week and its really serve me well, with marketplace i can just download any apps while im on the move, no sync. all my backup and contact can even save into my google account...etc for more info you may visit our lynt android section.
*
u can use marketplace too on ur WM devices, you can also save ur contacts by using PIM backup and store it inside your sd card, restoring doesnt require the computer. anyway, different people have different needs so that's why there are various OS, so we cant say which is the best. tongue.gif
Waiting for WM7

HD2 hardware is confirmed to be WM 7 compatible.

Does this mean HTC will provide free upgrade for HD2 next year?  smile.gif

after a month of careful deliberation and thinking, i've come to a conclusion that i want a htc hd 2 albeit the price i have to fork out.

need more info on where we can buy this gadget when it's been released.... and the wait is starting to get unbearable haha....

anyone knows if a UK set warranty covers internationally including malaysia? it could be an option for me to get it before the end of this month from there tongue.gif
*
the warranty is not covered by SIS Malaysia.. this is a very bad thing coz i have been reading about faulty Volume Up Button. better think twice

i find it hard to believe that the RRP is RM2899. if that's the price, all other HTC devices are gonna be dead. but i definitely hope it is cheaper! rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

RM2899 is reasonable... but after reading about the problems/bugs, kinda undecided smile.gif

About the service/warranty for HTC devices, need to send it back personally to SIS service centre (Pulau Tikus) ? Or just send back to the retailer/reseller?
*
send it back to SIS service centre if ur device is faulty. I have dealt with them and i can say they have quite a good after sales service. might need to wait for a few working days for ur device to be fixed but definitely worth the wait
