Yup i know it was RM 3288 when HD 1st launched, but PDAs nowadays are getting cheaper and cheaper, Touch Cruise was 2799 when it was launched but Diamond 2 was 2599 initial price. anyway it is just my hope and wish that it would be lower than 3k. wait till the price is announced then

htc had sent the earlier divice to all those telco to give a try on this device. according those in xda, the piece of giant cracker is damn good..XD waiting waiting waiting!!!!!

the official launch date is tomorrow for Tai Pei, 11th of Nov for Europe, South East Asia = no news. Also CEO of HTC Peter Chow will be having a press con on the launching of HD2 tomorrow, so lets see what he has to say about this.

i guess those people are somewhat related to HTC or they are handheld experts which would get a few sets of prototype and test it out before the official launch date. Even PDA Expert had 2 sets of Touch Pro before its official launch date in Malaysia during that time. there are currently no HD2 on sale worldwide yet, only pre-orders.

i would like to purchase it from overseas or UK to be more specific, coz' it is so much cheaper . its like US$350, any suggestions for buying phones from overseas? state me the pros and cons & experiences ,if any.

US350 too good to be true, beware! its a scam. if you are going to buy phone from oversea i would suggest you ask your friends who travel then bring it back. do not order online, you might end up getting higher tax + the custom officer might ask you go to SIRIM for Sirim test and obtain the sirim sticker. you might also endup paying all those tax and sirim price might be higher than your phone itself.

i dont believe USD 350, but maybe is phone plan d(but sure lock d)

It is no where near 350 USD for a HD2, at least 499 POUNDS. i hope you think twice before u buy. I posted once before that i was confused whether to buy an imported or local phone but after hearing it is coming soon i think i will wait for it to launch here, 499 pounds after converting it is 2800+ ringgit, just hope that it is lesser than 3k over here. the other most important thing that came into my mind was the warranty. 350 US dollers is impossible mate.

Yes, better buy from Malaysia, can Claim Warranty somemore...

Peter Chow : Already shipping in Europe, the HTC HD2 is available around the middle of November with Taiwan Mobile and will be available throughout Asia in the coming month. The HD2 will be available with a major carrier in the US in early 2010.
