QUOTE(PF T.J. @ May 24 2011, 07:49 PM) Yeap, which is why those SB laptops with AMD HD 6370 etc. are not particularly worth it since there's basically not much performance gain at all o...if people that dont know, as long as gt gc display.. better lo. |

forget read from where ady, but they mention fusion and sandy bridge will perform well with high performance graphic
for example last time if u buy a high performance graphic card u will need a good processor to bring out the performance of the graphic card but with sandy bridge and fusion processor you don't need good performance processor to bring out the performance of graphic card so if want to play high performance game or convert video any processor with a good graphic card will work great ady ofcauz more cores give better result Intel latest Ivy bridge will come out next year This post has been edited by junsheng: May 26 2011, 06:11 PM |

Actually, there is a point of having a HD6370M or similar while using it with an SB proc. Some games, absolutely refuse to run if it sees an Intel GMA in the system.

I'm not saying that the GMA is a bad thing but sometimes, discrete solutions are better to have even if they don't seem like a better improvement.enabling gaming and watch HD movies possible with new netbooks |
