Yeap, which is why those SB laptops with AMD HD 6370 etc. are not particularly worth it since there's basically not much performance gain at all laugh.gif

o...if people that dont know, as long as gt gc display.. better lo. doh.gif sometimes i also like that. but when my bro in law tell me, i understand a lil lo.. laugh.gif sb cpu produce less heat, does it mean it use low voltage power since it has small adapter. hmm.gif

XM = "Extreme quad-core mobile processors that feature unlocked Turbo multipliers"
Basically even higher clocks and bigger cache

forget read from where ady, but they mention fusion and sandy bridge will perform well with high performance graphic

for example last time if u buy a high performance graphic card u will need a good processor to bring out the performance of the graphic card but
with sandy bridge and fusion processor you don't need good performance processor to bring out the performance of graphic card

so if want to play high performance game or convert video any processor with a good graphic card will work great ady
ofcauz more cores give better result biggrin.gif

Intel latest Ivy bridge will come out next year rclxms.gif 22nm size

Actually, there is a point of having a HD6370M or similar while using it with an SB proc. Some games, absolutely refuse to run if it sees an Intel GMA in the system.

i don't think games will refuse to run if it sees an intel GMA in the system bcauz nowadays, laptop comes with Intel GMA and (AMD or Nvidia) graphic card when the laptop require high power graphic processing it will use better graphic card but it will switch back to intel GMA when it is idle to conserve battery life, furthermore Intel GMA with a sandy bridge processor will perform as much as the same as the entry level of AMD or Nvidia card
enabling gaming and watch HD movies possible with new netbooks

Nope, some games still refuse to run, even with the Intel HD. I'm not saying that the GMA is a bad thing but sometimes, discrete solutions are better to have even if they don't seem like a better improvement.
