bought my set of micro screwdrivers to open it.

my friend's 5730 is having problem with dust in the screen. so this will come in handy.

Yea I agree on getting this phone is not really worth it. Myself I am having a whole lot of problems with the phone. I am selling this phone away to get another phone later.

Bringing it to NCC 3 times didn't solve my problem of the auto restarting issue after they changed the motherboard for me. I am utterly disappointed with the service I got from NCC Amcorp.

You're welcome You might wanna consider waiting for the N8 rather than getting this 5730 also.

btw, i prefer phone with qwerty keyboard... its really convenient for typing purpose...

feel so sorry for u bro. the only problem i have is the volume buttons when i first bought it but they said its the motherboard problem so changed it and its okay now. what phone u getting then?

qwert keyboard yeah. then n900 would be the perfect choice but its just not symbian OS. but meego is really good and n900 is a really nice phone.

yeahh.. coz of qwerty keyboard, now i'm into e71/e72...

their nice but i dont really like their design only.

looks like old man design. prefer 5730. but slide phones loosen up very fast.

what happen to your slide?

nothing happen yet. but can feel its starting to become loose edi. maybe another 6 months will become loose? i never know.

is it expensive to repair the slide after the warranty is over??

No worries. my phone has been traded off with quite a good price for a SE W995. I don't know but after they changed the motherboard for me, the phone just keeps restarting by itself and even more frequently when I plug the phone on to the computer. After 3 times of trying to get that auto-restart issue, I just got really fed up and tired.

BTW which NCC did you send it to?

Just a word of advice, try not to send your phone for repair works at the NCC Amcorp. They are slow and the service kinda sucks and they are the HQ which is unbelievable

I think they will only charge you for the labour cost. They would only tighten back the slide thingy as I know.

hmm i don't know which NCC. because it was the first week after buying. and i gave it back to the shop i bought it from. they took 1 month+ to change the motherboard. w995 is a very nice phone. my friend has it. i would have bought it if it wasn't SE. very complicated to use. prefer nokia.

Ooh? Yours AP set? Actually SE phones are pretty standard though.

now nokia c6 is available in malaysia..
