I thought you already let got of it already. Touch screen... Consider HTC, SE and iPhone. Technically, I wouldn't wanna recommend Nokia smartphones anymore to anyone because Nokia smart phones are pretty unstable especially the newer phones.

yea. nokia high end phone nowdays. but need give them some time. i wan to wait for n8 as long as i can. if can't then i'll get something else.

Look at the spec on N8, it just beat all the device out there, really cant wait already.

sold it off just because of the lag-ness and get a 5800 instead

uh...don't get 5800 if you want touch-screen phones cause the screen really very insensitive...
for mum better don't buy any phones with slide or flip mechanism cause ribbon easily spoil if you're not a careful user which I bet most probably most mums aint that much of a careful user when it comes to electronics so buy a candybar phone or else touchsreen

Candy bar is still the best for our parents.

5800's touch feature should have been improved since the last firmware upgrade. Seems a little better for me.

It's not really the firmware problem ady...the hardware can't go anymore sensitive...and yeap...oet's go for X2 then...but my parents wint ise those type of phones de...too basic for them...my mum use iphone and my dad using N97 and E71 occasionally
