Goto contrl panel then add/remove apps, scroll to nokia connectivity. Run it and do a repair.
if not, remove the whole package including pcsuite, downoad new and install again. |

lonz, try delete all the wifi access points and try again.
menu->setting->connection->destinations-> go see one by one. most likely its in 'uncategorised' after that, go menu->settings->connect->wlan wiz. choose your wifi spot and start it. after that, go back to menu->setting->connection->destinations->uncategorised move the wifi spot to internet. |

jumbled contacts solution
- first use the se software to download all the contacts and keep it as csv file. at that point you may use excel to edit. - then fire up nokia pc suite->contacts->import ====== win7 update is still in beta stage. not recomended to play play. if u r trying to update to the latest firmware (6feb), use *#0000#, option->update |

QUOTE(hyonzabaru @ Feb 12 2010, 09:28 PM) hey today i try the Wlan on my 5730, and a meter bar with a '3g' next to it appears at the top left during the loading of web browsers. am i using 3g which charges applies, or only wifi? means u r using the expensive 3g to browse.start ur browser by pressing 0 long long->option->setting->general->always ask then the next time, just remember to choose ur wifi spot. when wifi is on, it will appear as a square flower at top right next to bluetooth. for god sake... install opera for symbian. Added on February 14, 2010, 11:04 pm QUOTE(arafat @ Feb 14 2010, 06:34 PM) running opera for symbian (not opera mini)normal web experience is great. everything works perfect except flash related like facebook games. for youtube, you can access it in menu->internet->youtube. running on celcom 3g is quite smooth with minimal buffering. Added on February 14, 2010, 11:24 pmtoo bad opera dont block advertisements. warning though. if u dun have data plan, loading lyn takes about 1mb if 10kb=10sen, means 1000kb= rm10 for loading lyn front page. go celcom or go digi! oh ya.
one victim of java games - http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=ST&f=61&t=1294111 dont simply trust games downloaded in OVI. especially those FREE or TRIAL one. some will send sms back home and u will get charged. if unsure, switch to offline mode and run the game and see. Added on February 14, 2010, 11:46 pmOpera mobile beta 3 http://www.opera.com/mobile/ way better than mini. our phone is strong enough to support multitabs. (open new tab = * up) This post has been edited by lj0000: Feb 14 2010, 11:46 PM |

hi. welcome all new members!
on language: yes, there is always risk on changing the region code using nmesis. if you are brave enough.. go ahead. if not, ask the seller to flash it to chinese (i believe this is called good customer service, right Clareen?) not sure nokia service center will entertain it or not. next time will ask. arafat: hmmm.. its an acquired taste. some people may not like too many buttons till dunno which to press. i believe these people will most likely switch to touch phone like 5800. most importantly... enjoy what you like. sms: yes. its very fast and easy. |
