just note 5.0.60 is taiwan version some ppl update to tat version have text corrupted issue

text corrupted occur when u directly paste folders and files from version 5.00.60 into your previous version.

what i did is delete all data from the previous garmin..and install the fresh one..im hepy using it now

checked. really got .60 vesion. just google for it.
i am still using the .50 version. time to update lo.

on speed traps:
yes its a historical data, and not necessary. its just serve as a reminder on regular spots, and also places where police like to yam people on roads. some roads dun have road sign to reduce speed from normal 80kmh to 60kmh on certain stretch.

and garmin data is fixed. Police can always change location = useless. If u want to detect speed trap go seek for a detector tat cost few K and its illegal in malaysia

the speed trap thing works best in singapore! they have the fixed speed trap camera and avoiding those is good enough liao.

very soon malaysia will have something similar, and lets wait for the implementation, then the database to avoid them

and dats gonna happen quite sometime from now onwards..

5.00.60 just fix for 5800 only ar...
then i dun think is necessarily to update it lo...

Wah! it happening so many day already, i try to use my Garmin to detect and it took 20 minutes and it still the red colour bar..Any advise about that?

haix. so far still statisfied with what i'm using now,
even show me where o makan. too bad din show the stall working hour. always find during midnight and the stall all tutup. haha

garmin will take time to detect a signal when ure in covered area.
go and find open area so that the satellite will easily detect ur gps device.
if ur phone have A-GPS function, make it enable..but u will bear a roaming cost. i think just makan sikit ur kredit. huhu

try go to a open area to get a lock first. meaning, before u enter ur car, start the software first while walking.
also, those with very good glass sticker like vcool will face difficulty.
