i call regarding my xbox 3ROD and this is my 4th time... since Dec 2006 if not mistaken...
Call them up get a fren or relative valid add and phone no for records... and just for verification actually... so now i'm going there this saturday...
FYI u can do next day exchange, means u call today tomorrow u can go there to change... much more easier compare to my previous claim which i need to go there after 2~3 weeks... and b4 u go there u have to call again (tol free no shit) by the help of my frens or sis... now we can contact them directly as they know m'sia so have a lot of ppl own it also... i think la...


BTW Modded Xbox issue or stuff should not be discussed here... u can get banned...

FYI u can claim the xbox for warranty after the period also it will cost u SGD150 if not mistaken... ask if you are interested...

Is SGD159 sweat.gif don't know why they charge so high for out of warranty console.. (Same goes with PS3 though... ) and valid only 90 days sweat.gif

i asked coz if i can get new set for that amount but i hand over my old one i'm willing to do so coz i don want any future trouble mah...

Previously I got few of the xbox 360 console that cannot be claim but there is a way to paid 159SGD.. but I was told that only 90 days warranty. sweat.gif but that was few months back, not sure they change any policy or so.

as for getting it a jasper ... I doubt it, everytime I do a claim, it always given back what you have. (zephyr > zephyr) (Falcon > Falcon )

yes i asked... coz this is my 4th time to claim and my 3 yr warranty will expires soon... if really quit on me then i need to wack them already... i told them if u collect the amount and i got a new set of Falcon i want... it is useless if i pay that much and still i get a refurbish console or a console which will have heart attack any time... cry.gif

nah if i still have warranty i still choose to go back... further more u pay around RM400 u get warranty also for whole Xbox... not only for the 3ROD problem... when ever u exchange the console they will give you full warranty 3 months for others items like DVDROM and others failure...

My refurbished console last for 1year + compared to previous one 7months.

I've even dropped it a few time and let it on for weeks sometimes....

It's a falcon, So still pretty worth it.

AFAIK Falcon have a relatively good reliability in the end of phase or who knows? maybe they're converted to Jasper with Falcon outfit?

haha mine worst... claimed on my annual dinner in SG... which is on Jan... when CNY brought back to my hometown for my bros it give problem after 1 nite of hardcore gaming...

mine got rrod in april...and in that period i have changed 3 times. now touch wood, after exchanging the 4th unit, it's going ok. thanks bro djinn for helping out also.

nah... mine got ROD just 5 months ago... lazy to go and at that moment i'm getting my house ready for move in... so now steady already and my addicted FIFA10 is out... damn... so have to exchange...

They actually extended their Working time.

Operating hours:
Monday to Saturday - 10AM to 7PM
Sunday - 10AM to 3PM
(Closed on Public Holidays)

For those of you who went to SG on your own for the exchange, did they insist that you show your receipt(as proof of purchase) to them before they proceed with the warranty claim ?

I see..well support guy kept making a point to remind to keep/scan the receipt as proof of purchase date,since warranty isn't started on date of registration but purchase.just wondering if there's any change to their process..
