QUOTE(wKkaY @ Oct 9 2009, 08:05 AM) Diskless Server allow all Desktop PC or Secondary Server at my home to boot OS from image located at Server using "OnBoard Lan Boot(PXE)" It's also can mount one or more data image for every OS up to 1024GB per image. Current support Diskless Boot OS = Windows XP,Vista,Windows 7,Windows Server 2003/2008,Linux Fedora Core/Centos/Suse/Ubuntu Save our Planet from pollution by using less hardisk Cyber Cafe Diskless Solution : Share one OS image(usually XP) and few data image to all client PC.No matter what's the user done at the system on client while "Normal User Mode",it will return to previous state of image by single reboot.Easy manage by entering "Super User Mode" on any client (with password) to update/install application, software and games for every image on server, after done just reboot all client pc to have latest application, software and games. P/S : I'm not seller/developer of Diskless software but i would like to share the information and help support to all you guys This post has been edited by ghost705: Oct 9 2009, 12:49 PM |

What products are you using?I've considered using iSCSI to boot off a remote disk, but the cards are still too expensive for home use |

Mine. Made a few minor changes/upgrades.
Primary workstation on the right, secondary on the left. The big table and red chair there is more than 20 years old, I was just a lil baby back then! Moved them all the way from KL, then to Penang Island, and now to Bukit Mertajam. ![]() My place. Recently upgraded the monitor to AOC Angelo, bought a new wireless router, sound card, portable headphone and hard drive. Also changed to an antique sound system with antique cables. My laptop, portable drives, 3 earphones and other misc. junk are all in my room, too messy to show ![]() Kinda crowded huh? No choice lah since the table so small... Even used to place a camcorder dock and 2 digicams on the table, now stashed somewhere else liao ![]() RAWR! ![]() Underneath. 14-year "antique" old amp, speaker and cables I mentioned earlier, 10-year old table. Forgot to return the Zoids box on the bottom left back to my cupboard. Oh yea, now I'm just using an el-cheapo mouse and keyboard as they work well enough ![]() So many guys here said the "insides" of their casing are full of cacing la, or jungle la, or whatever lah. let me show you the REAL meaning of cacing/jungle/whatever. ![]() QUOTE(Zheng87 @ Oct 9 2009, 12:10 PM) I think I know you... Let's see:1) Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic student 2) Currently IICP student 3) Used to be a TAR student 4) Undergoing internship this semester 5) Drives a black Camry Correct?
