i wish i knew... but it is said it will be out before the new year.

But anyway the coming yearly report (which should be good) is also a catalyst for me to keep holding on..  blush.gif

Guys, stay cool, GenSP is the best growth counter in this country we can bet on for capital appreciation for the longer term, unless you are on loan or on margin whereby you are paying a hefty interest rate regularly, just hold-on to GenSP, it will go up again later.

Sometimes we can trade, at other times, we just can't on a particular counter. Not always will the same bird fly into our hands.

For myself : I am holding-on to Gen SP, yeah, I am aware there is no dividend from this counter, but over the longer time, I hold the confidence that I will make more from the capital appreciation for GenSP.

Basically, the intrinsic resistance for GenSP is still a long way away, at current performance for GenSP and for similar 'gambling counters'. Take this opporunity to buy-up more if your budget allows.

i thought generally if you are a fundamental investor who believe in the company's future, it's an easy decision to take up the rights.  flex.gif

Certainly, Ling, you are right from an analytical position. But sometimes, people are limited by resources, and some people would want to take profit first, while others believed the price will fall further later after Listing Day.

Hate to bring you guys this news - The Gaming Regulators in SG here are not going to let the junkets start that soon this year. I would be happy if you guys have heard otherwise, please update here.

The resumption and opening of BattleStar Galactica and Transformer Park respectively will remain as scheduled, ie by mid-2011.

I don't know much about Dynaquest, but you can buy a book about all the counters in the SGX. The book is called ShareInvestor, and it is available at any Seven-Eleven in Singapore.

GenSP dropped below the strong support of 2.00 today. The most exciting ride, the Battlestar Galactica at the Universal Studios has just restarted operation.

Stay calm.

Battlestar Galactica are nothing, more just a ride to me.  laugh.gif

Don't worry, if you are a shareholder, though you do not like BG, it's not a big deal. The point is many other people - locals and foreigners alike are waiting for this ride to re-open in order that they will visit our RWS again.

And this will help in the revenue. smile.gif And this is what I am concerned about.

Anyway, personally, the BG Ride is no big deal for me too. What that's important to me is to bring the crowds back.

you are right bro... if you notice, many holiday-ers have been waiting for the reopening of BG... other things to look forward is Madagascar, and transformer rides

long term wise, gensp's results should no longer be affected by the loss of UK operations, so it should be good sailing ahead, unless global markets badly chui...

again i'm starting to hearing some rumors of interesting news from other sources... but just FYI la.. last round got conned by "news" already.. looking back at my old notes, there were mention of gensp looking into opportunities in Japan... hmm, maybe that will be the news to bring prices up to 2.50... but pure speculation la... weekend mood to dream a little bit.. ok take care guys..  biggrin.gif
*
Ling, thank you. The loss of UK operations is just a one-off thing, and investors took this too seriously, imho,.. The negative effect created will fade when better news comes along, but of course, anything can happen,... It's just that the probability of better things ahead is higher - so we are in.

Frankly, I preferred to have the entertainment side of GenSP contributing more and more to the total revenue rather than just depending on the gamblers. The rides will have a good chance of achieving this, which the other single competitor does not have.

That's why I kept harping on the rides, if you see my other posts abt GenSP in this thread.

Have a good weekend too,... Bro Ling. ...always a pleasure to see your reply... rclxms.gif

Now is a good time to see how resilient are the counters which we have purchased. ...and to see how far will the STI drop...

market sentiment not going to improve overnight, i will cut whatever that in profit or may consider to cut loss the least loss...... but too bad not much choices left. the leftover will become unvoluntarily long term investor ...... doh.gif
*
Yes, many will become "involuntary long term investors", but being "long term investors" with a consistent dividend payout and an acceptable yield is definitely FINE, though the share price dropped, if the dividend payout is maintained, it's still okay !!

Then we can certainly say the stock is resilient and strong.

Yes, I will alert you. Since we are already talking here, if you are keen on being a yield investor and keen on healthcare stocks, take a look at Parkway Life REIT too.

Please give me a rating if you think my comments have been helpful. Thank you.

Ok Hansel. Didn't notice that we can give rating as couldn't find how to do it.
By the way do you think CapitalMallAsia is worth to buy and keep too?
*
Tks Ronn,.. I would hope to see a rating.

CapMallsAsia - To me, a mall REIT is cyclical,... not stable dividend. I preferred to be in healthcare.

Sorry polling day 7th may

However received some warning from some players to sell before this date... Buy on any dips for now and sell before then... Hmmmm
*
shocking.gif Ohh ? I heard that it would be another non-event,.. with PAP taking Gov't again comfortably,...
for the SG shares, should start buying on dips, but I seriously doubt there will be any dips. Elections rally is always there, and SG shares has just one direction to go. NORTH !

Hi Ling, I think it will not dip, especially since the SGD has appreciated after the MAS re-centering of the SGD trading band.
