Ah, good news that the ping is restored. 200ms was always the ping we would get to gfserv. Also, all of my latency seems to be back to normal according to http://www.smoothping.com/pingtest. We will see.

He is talking about NA I think. The [EN] tag simply means the server is meant for English-speaking players.

The 3vs3 looks interesting, as ranked players gain access to a lot of rewards. For us, however, playing beyond 1am local time in advisable... for some obvious reasons.

Most 60 players do Battleground, which is essentially a raid PVP. This raid PVP is imperative if you wish to craft the end-game equipments, buy end-game accessories, and get access to end-game PVP gears as well. Even in PVP servers there are no longer active World PVPs, apart from GuildvsGuild (which also exists in PVE servers as well).

Like it or not, you need to PVP. I don't see the problem though, been on BGs for months and ranked 25th once.

I got a lot of applications submitted to the guild. So far all can be successfully accepted, except for a zaido. You may have deleted your character or joined another guild, but if those aren't the case, reapply and I will accept.
