TBH I don't understand why everyone thinks people are leaving to get to Guild Wars 2. In fact, I have returning players on friends list coming from Guild Wars 2 back to TERA. I have not experienced Guild Wars 2, but I have always been talking with players in-game and asking them to comparatively place TERA and GW2 on a neutral rating scale, and giving me a final say on the combat mechanics. Most agree that TERA have the upper hand, and upon seeing BETA videos for the past months and now watching live feeds too, I do get the same impression. However this is by merely watching.

What this person has said is completely BS, and has no basis. If you want to support I highly suggest some charts for evidence or you can move along and troll another board.

Try some of the launcher settings and see if it fixes your problem. Forward the proper ports too, just in case.

And to your question, yes, it is monthly payment. I would continue playing GW2 if I were you since you already got it, but meh... GW2 is mediocre at best.

For PvE, we are in Velik. There is also a Malaysian/Asian guild in Essenia (PvP) but I'm not sure of the current standings there. If you're in Velik, search for Lowyat under guild's list and PM me for an invite.

Almost everyone in Malaysia is playing on EU. And RM38 a month is pretty cheap for me (I use timecards).

And don't bother throwing cash at a publisher who doesn't want your butt in their servers.

Yes, it's bugged. Just send a ticket to ask for a reset or to ask support to move your quest one point up.

The guild has 110+ registered mates on Velik. Most are inactive now, though.

No, probably suspending their accounts. Inactivity could only tell you so much. We still have a lot of 60s though from time to time. Just don't expect raid numbers.

I know a couple of guys who used battleping and they are still playing fine. The only issue here is that there have been players who got banned before.

The problem is when the service voids the policy, for example, the bypassing or hiding of IP address. Battleping or whatthefast for example, don't hide your IP address.
I'd still not use any though.

This quest was so early most of us pre-patch didn't even remember it existed. There is a way around of course, till they fix it and you can resume that line of story quests.

Pay to play. Small lag from time to time but it has been quite noticeable for me. Item mall? If you mean cash shop, not yet implemented in EU (but it has been in NA). Max level is 60.

I don't post SS since we have that all on our guild site, so feel free to see them (even as guests). I also frap videos from time to time so you could see actual end game content of hard mode bosses, normal modes, and the queen fight (which I am still in the process of taking down).
