4 days of downloading and still 3gb and patching to do before i can get into the game.. planning on rolling an elin lancer ASAP( i like to tank =D)

how hard is being a tank in TERA anyway compared to very MMORPGs(WoW/Rift/Aion)?

Well you have to manually block instead of percentage block like WOW.

Tanking in Tera means
- holding agro against dps that crit high damage and can instantly switch agro to them
- able to grab agro back ASAP after it switches
- knowing boss attack animation for the two point below
- knowing when to block and when to avoid or just eat the damage
- knowing when to stun
- knowing how to position yourself and the boss so that your dps can do high damage

Valho, your playing as a warrior in tera online?

When i click any server on the list, the enter server button keep flashing but nothing happen. Any guys can login to the server?

I joined some of my friend in another guild

I do have a level 30+ warrior, took a bit of time for me to get use to Tera warrior play style.
Actually I have all classes except mystic and priest.

oh... which classes do you prefer after trying most of them? I still can't decide if I wanted to play a warrior or a sorcerer

Sorc is pretty much stay at range, though not very far, and burst all your highest damage spells as fast as you can, of course makes sure you aim properly lol

Warrior is more of hit and run, you have fast attack but because you wear light armor you can't really take too much beating, so combos, move around/dodge and combos.

Both classes are quite fun to play, though you need to be more alert as warrior since you are close to the action.

Hmm not sure about Anduria yet, both guild lack lancer lol, but my friend's guild not much level 60, so they probably will not be doing high level content so soon, so Anduria will be at HoL for the time being.

np, you really need to try it out though, the best way to get a feel of warrior is trying to solo BAM when you are level 20+, first BAM at level 20
Also range class in this game is different than others as their spells are more effective if they are closer, so for sorc is about 10m from mob, so in case of boss, it's pretty close.

TERA is more on player skill dependant & observe mob reaction..

Some ppl can play sorc till lvl60 but some give up during low lvl including me lol

priest will sure having difficult time for boss fighting coz low dmg output...u'll get know when fighting 1st map final boss >.<...mystic is better coz can use pet.

zerker is way better good dmg but move n hit slow =.=

other class yet try.

Just my own thought.
