Was just wondering what is the industry salary rate for my career, and realise that i can really find a reference, as our country's labour law / union are not strong. the Law / Union mainly to protect the blue colar low earners.
so wonder what is the salary you guys earning. Is it at par with the industry, better or getting squeze by the boss.
we dont have to go into exact figure, but a general +- RM200 or rm300 will be the guide. The objective is to know the industry rate, so we as workers can demand more in the future!!!!
Maybe you guys can respond to the following :
Job Title : Job Desciption : Company : Good if got name, else just put MNC, Listed, Non Listed, small shop Industry : Tenur : permanent or contract Employment Level : clerk, junior exec, senior exec, asst manager, manager Experience before joining : any workign experience (years and industry relavance) salary : RM ????
for myself,
Senior MIS exec IT related MNC Bank Banking contract senior exec 2 1/2 year with MSC status Co and Listed Co 3000+-

hehehe.... u must be one lucky guy i got many friends in the industry. i my self in a bank.
my friend who has 8 years experience in maybank public bank citibank shoot me down when i told him your salary.
he says "no banks so stupid to pay 3k for Management trainee with fresh grad, no experience and permanenet"
i also ask my uncle, who is a senior hr manager in a foreign bank, he too shoot me down.
i know HSBC never offers permanenet, and banking industry salary is controlled by the Association of Banks Malayasia and Bank Negara.
so which bank you working for. DAMMM i wan tto know which bank youworking for, then i can go bang my hr manager;s table.

QUOTE(johnnyxt @ Jan 13 2005, 10:14 AM) MNCs with very structured Mgmt Trainee programs in a sense HAS to pay a high salary from the start. This is cos you probably won't get promoted or have any increments within the tenure of the program, which could last up to 2 years. And Utopia, you don't need to know which bank i'm working for. (Hint: I've actually mentioned before in another thread, try finding it). Rest assured I'm not lying. So go and bang your HR manager's desk anyway. ) ya is suppose u put it that way then is fair. some jobs has lower promotion or career advance path. so they balance in salary. some others is balance by commission allowences and year end bonus. johny : if thats the case i wont bang the table. im actually happy with what im getting. but i wont be 1 year down the road. hahaha every year must increase 20% or more else the boss suck!
