Job Title : not sure
Job Responsibilities : Prepare and submit tender, Drafting, Supervise work at site, attend meetings, correspondence, answering phone, etc. (almost 1 leg kicking)
Company : Private
Industry : Engineering, Construction
Tenur : permanent
Employment Level : Dunno..
Experience before joining : 5yrs
Duration with current company: 3 months
Salary : RM 2750

I'm sure i can get a better salary in KL but in Miri, i wonder if im underpaid or overpaid. sad.gif

Any feedback from fellow Sarawakian?

for fresh graduate and first job...i think your salary is reasonable. u will see a substantial pay rise once u have more experience and and join another company. are u working in KL ? look at mine....after so many years....still cannot break that 3k barrier.

Hi Bongkerz. Im working in Piasau Industrial Area at the moment. yes, im sure i could have got more if i didnt come back to Miri here. Well, construction industry in Miri is like almost dead. Where would you prefer to work after graduate?

it is good to gain more experience by working in KL first. but after establishing your career there, i wont be surprised if u refuse to come back after that. tongue.gif ( i was forced to come back here rolleyes.gif )

long time no hear from u bongkerz. 1.9k is quite a good pay for fresh grad. heard from the radio the starting pay for fresh grad has dropped tremendously this yr compared to last. Your place still got vacancy?? im going to be unemployed soon....no more project here in Miri. sad.gif

alchemist, u really cant compare Miri with KL. Look at the amount of pages for vacancy in the star and compare it with Miri local paper..... hardly see any construction here except for housing. if i have a choice, i would go back KL. anyway, u got a high pay vacancy for me ah??? biggrin.gif
