"The training programme is wholly sponsored by Malaysia Airlines. All cadet pilots will have to repay the cost of training through monthly deductions over a period of fifteen years commencing from the time they are employed as Second Officers. In addition, all cadet pilots have to sign a training bond."

got this from mas web.....kean bond one leh...how much they deduct??
*
The bond is something good. It secures you a job. As for how much they deduct.. only in the hundreds.. It is NOTHING compared to how much you are being paid. No worries on that.

I have a question. If we were to interview new job. We have no experience in  prior job and have only pre-u. What is the expected salary we should put? In kl. Job is in office one.
*
Due to the high living costs of KL city, IMHO, ntg less than 1.5k..

I wrote 1.4k for 2 job that i went to interview for. I was called back to interview on on job 2 days after that and the interviewee asked me if i get less then 1.4k will i still work here? I was like WTF? Still want to cut my salary ?? So i answered him back. In your opinion do u think 1.4k can survive in kl? He said no. So i told him no. less then 1.4k i wont take it.
Good ar?
And the 2nd interview that i went to. The HR manager told me 1.4k cannot survive in kl. Gave me the Q&A form back and let me reanswer it after the interview ends. i wrote 1.8k tongue.gif Now waiting for reply from the company. Both of them..
*
yeah thats good... 1.4k wanna cut?.. eat sand ar? doh.gif .. haha Good luck to you. wink.gif

you are damn lucky....

I studied hard .... grad from an overseas university and work as an engineer in one of the public listed company ....and guess what my pay is only around 2k++ per month after confirmation ..... i can only afford a national car...which many of here said lousy ..  sweat.gif
*
With a degree in engineering, esp aeronautical or aerospace, it will be a great advantage if you apply to be a pilot. They train you up for 2 years for free + allowance, and then youll start working.. so why not go for it?.. if you're not interested in flying there are also positions for aircraft maintanence engineers..
