imho, the way to better earnings, is by adding value to the basic skill. eg, a qualified designer who also understands brand building, or can also conceptualise, or can also proof read copy, etc etc
Most designers go in field and boss will said. " You are fresh, your designs are still fresh. Yes though these bunch of fresh grad dun have the chance to prove that they have the skills in concept, brand building, and copy. Errr if i have no mistaken tose skill i mention is done by the Art Director or your manager. Designers do designers job. Sitting infront computer do visuals and FA. huhu..
Do what they tell you to do and finsih in time.
If there is some undergraduate designers out there, don't just learn design or graphic design.. tose are granted skills for designers. Learn business, economics, marketing and so on that benefits you on your future. Undergraduate designers please remember, the market price for a fresh graduate is not high. It is out of what you expected. Not to low down fresh designers morality but this is the truth. Gain experience is what a fresh grad can do now. Learn more. Have Fun... designers...
