Overall comment for IT pay is quite low...

Experience before joining : 1 1/2 yrs yrs (non-related:Manufacturing production)
salary : RM 2.9k + average allowance RM1200(toll claims,mileage,) + 5 day work + phone bill(by company)
Remarks : 1.) Get increment of 15%
2.) Allowance able to reach 3k monthly
3.) Company mileage claim = 0.55/km

Overall find the company is good prospect for my career enchancement. As well thinking of to obtain a MBA

normally i would say minimum is 15%...but again depends whether u r joining the same field as ur present works..then u can bargain more...if different field i think hardly u can bargain....

Off topics a bit..can we talk abt BONUS...
i get abt 1.8months(18months working)...company is doing good businnees....i wondering am i getting less...but i do heard still a lot ppl not getting their bonus even for working 4 years in the company...especially for IT field...they dun practise pay bonus for their staff(small & medium company)..unless is multi big IT firm....

i would say good pay..stay tune with the company..if u find hapy work with it.

never come across a diploma holder with fresh can get above 2k......all i know is at min RM1500 & below Rm2k

dun urs is a bit low?..my ex boss as production manager(with diploma oni) also at RM4500....

now im project engineer with RM3k basic(4 years working experience).
