i see, so the warranty of the iphone set will be automatically transfered to the new owner?

You must give the Maxis service card to the purchaser but the phone ownership will not change in Maxis customer database. Some Maxis centers will require only the Maxis service card for warranty purposes but some also requires both the service card and the owner to present for warranty claim purposes.

If it's a valid SMS from Maxis, your name will be registered in their collection database, so it is safe to go and collect. smile.gif

ya...pavillion there wont able to deduct ur deposit off the MEP there...if u get from pavillion, ur deposit at MEP will burn
*
Are you sure that the deposit is forfeited if you collect it from other MEPs and not from the one you registered with? hmm.gif

QUOTE(avars @ Oct 25 2009, 03:32 PM)
well~ good business if the customers are still using hotlink after they bought the phone, but what if they change to other telco?
*
Not to forget that how many users are actually willing to pay for that insane charge on data usage. nod.gif

i bought it rightaway with a contract.
*
You can't exchange your unit for a 16GB one. Anyway, you get double space capacity of 16GB, so it's a good thing still. wink.gif
If you feel like exchanging, you can always open a thread at Garage Sales to sell your iPhone and buy a 16GB unit from there too.

so did they proof anything to you that the deposit you paid it will deduct in the monthly phone bill?
*
If you're under any iValue Plan, your deposit will be deducted from your monthly maxis bill.
As for iData Plan, the deposit will be deducted from the phone's cost. smile.gif

Hmm. Anyone got the link for the offer? Everyone can get the offer or some people only?
*
What offer? If you're talking about the privilege of getting it on the spot, you need to head down to Pavilion KL and try your luck. smile.gif
